@niparagon @implausibleblog There would be a very large overlap on a venn diagram of “we can’t riot for partners that kill their wives” and “we need to protect our women and children”

@implausibleblog Almost all of those women, were killed by husbands, partners, family. Who should be the target of those riots? How would you stop those murders? Emma Ward, was murdered by a foreigner. No riots.

Lady with long hair, "Over the summer we had riots and vigilante groups here and a lot of politicians came out and said these people have legitimate concerns" "We've had 28 women murdered in the last five years" "It seems there is less appetite to come out and riot when the perpetrator looks like someone you might work with or play football with" #BBCQT

@GetAngus @floboflo So you’re comparing to a time where people didn’t generally walk around holding up an item worth £1000+

@floboflo I’ve worked in London for thirty years and have been on Southwark Street for over ten of those. There is a significant amount of robberies at knife point and phone jacking. Perhaps you should take a stroll from Tower Bridge to Waterloo with your phone out and see how you get on.

@Rod__Mason @Geoff_Walton @LordDixon @sharrond62 There are warnings about cold every year including financial relief to help people to pay to keep warm. As you well know as you tweeted about it. It’s always a ‘narrative’ with some people.

@Geoff_Walton @LordDixon @sharrond62 Most people are much more at risk from cold temperatures, but we don’t tend to get warnings about those because they don’t fit the global warming narrative!

I’m so fed up of alarmist weather forecasts! How did we ever manage on previous hot summer days (plenty of them I was around during the summer of 1976) without the bbc etc painting the British isles as if we’re all on fire! 🔥🤯

Just two ex-Tories celebrating their visit to a colliery that was closed by the Tories and hoping the working class are thick enough to fall for it.

What’s the weirdest item in your house please that freaks out visiters? Or maybe your parents, grandma, relatives or friends mum had a weird ornament, portrait, spooky looking chair?! Lemme know. Here’s my downstairs loo pig. My kids hate it haha.

@ellieokwilson I think the life long stigma attached with a rape conviction is the reason some people feel like this. It’s such a hard crime to get conclusive prove for that if there is even a shred of doubt, people feel uncomfortable convicting.

Something that I’ve found striking about the discourse surrounding Netflix’s Adolescence, is that many viewers still questioned the killer’s guilt despite the evidence shown. It highlights the discomfort our society feels at holding men and boys accountable for their actions.

Is this really the argument against a wealth tax? Why do we tax money made with a pair of hands differently to money made with money @Garyseconomics perfectly explains how Billionaires can afford to pay more.

@afowler06 Sorry you’re struggling with your son, and when we don’t fully understand something it’s easy to fall into a hole looking for someone/something to blame. But ‘common sense’ isn’t proving a point, whole fresh foods are best but everything else isn’t killing us

WHY IS THEY SO MANY AUTISTIC BABIES? it is healthy metals in v*ccines and processed foods? Do THEY NEED BREAST MILK, are mothers getting wrong information and give the babies POWDER FORM MILK INSTEAD OF BREAST MILK, puppies die unless they get their mums milk a lot of the time, but humans suppose to SURVIVE ON FAKE PROCESSED FOODS? Let me know your thoughts 🙏🏻 #autism #alwayslearning #tryingtohelpothers

@EPriceJourno I’m Welsh and don’t have a clue what this says. I suppose the Welsh speaking minority expect me to learn Welsh but what about the millions of tourists who visit Wales? Parochial doesn’t even cover it.

@SophieP25397 @G4RYR @Ivor186289 The question here, is there 2 standards of policing & law. It's seems that way to many, soft approach to those that are of a certain "religious" cult.

@gjo2405 @chiifta @GogDemi @Wrexham_AFC Oh and people that get called shouting racial abuse in football crowds get banned from games too (as they should). Football should be inclusive and welcoming. People can have opinions, what you do with them and the impact on a club/fans is another matter

@chiifta @GogDemi @gjo2405 @Wrexham_AFC Not just a political view though is it. It’s attending riots and supporting (if not committing) violence and intimidation, not to mention racism and intimidation of mixed communities.
