This Grundfos pump is a smaller version of what is used to supply water around the country. It is made of stainless steel and bronze to prevent it from corroding because they are often used underwater. The water helps to cool the motors to prevent them from overheating.

Our Waddon Engine had a broken lubricator and because of its shape, age, and design it was going to be rather difficult to replace.
A friend of the museum Daniel Cotgreave was able to machine one out of solid Perspex bar at TI engineering.
