Ruling today mentioned the bad advice of Stonewall. This is the biggest reason sports in the Uk threw away women’s sport & ignored it when the actual law was pointed out to them, because stonewall constantly through DEI officers threatened (but never did) to sue.
Akua Reindorf KC@akuareindorf

I don't have time to read the judgment in LS v NHS England today, but skimming through it I was delighted to see this bit Following bad advice from orgs like @stonewalluk is *no excuse* for discrimination An absolutely brilliant result from @LoudBonnet and @LizMcG_emplaw 👏✊

@stingerdelux Nobody I know on this side of the fight thinks all men are bad. Nobody I know on this side of the fight thinks all men rape, beat or abuse women and girls. We simply have incontrovertible proof that enough do to make safeguarding necessary - and a lot of men agree with us.

Funny, isn’t it, how women who’ve been raped or beaten are accused of ‘weaponising’ their trauma when they ask for male-free spaces, but trans-identified men who claim using the Gents has a higher mortality rate than armed combat are met with credulity and simpering concern.

I absolutely hate where we are. I love UK. I don’t want it brought to its knees. But this farce is no longer acceptable. All the traitors in his government are desperately clinging on to their own gravy trains. So they blame him. But they are all culpable.

Bravo, @Keir_Starmer, for getting in an Adviser on Women and Girls who thinks the definition of women and girls includes men and boys. That'll definitely win back people who believe Labour's a party for smug, lanyard-wearing, luxury-belief-espousing cultural elitists. 1/2
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

I’m delighted to appoint @HarrietHarman as my Adviser on Women and Girls. Harriet is a strong advocate for women and girls and I know she will deliver greater opportunity for women in public life. I’m committed to tackling structural misogyny that is a barrier for too many women and girls. I look forward to working with Harriet to drive forward action on this important issue.

Pubs are closing weekly, farmers are in jeopardy, small businesses are banging their heads against a brick wall, we have a welfare bill we can’t meet, so the change he promised has well & truly fucked us all up. Well done ‘first female’ chancellor. Please don’t deliver anymore !
Rachel Reeves@RachelReevesMP

These are tough election results for Labour and I’m sorry to all of those colleagues who have lost their seats. Keir Starmer won a mandate to change our country. We must get on with delivering that mandate - and show how politics can improve people’s lives for the better.

@UKLabour But you didn't change it for the better-hence the catastrophic losses in local council elections. One Kier started your party and another has almost ended it!

Labour was elected to change this country. That is what the public want, and what they deserve. Tough days like today don’t weaken our determination to deliver that change. They strengthen it.

We must respond to the message that voters have sent us and break with the status quo once and for all. We must confront the big challenges the public face with real answers. That is how we will deliver the change that people are desperate for and build a stronger and fairer country. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

You're really taking the piss out of us now. A woman who advocated for the Paedophile Information Exchange is NOT and NEVER will be, an advocate for women and girls!! What exactly does she plan to deliver? Lowering the age of consent? Letting paedophiles off scot-free? Legalising child marriage to appease certain communities?

When people hear the word "woman," they think of women. So when they're asked, "Should 'transwomen' be allowed in women's spaces?" they hear "Should women be allowed in women's spaces?" The real question: "Should grown men be allowed in women's locker rooms changing with girls?"
