@Bill_Master2 @_mrskennedy_ Point 1 sounds more like you'd rather ignore rational plot in favor of your own opinion.
And if hairstyle is a factor in recognizing him, I'd like to point out that Sherry’s hair was much shorter than in RE2, yet Leon recognized her immediately. She was also a grown adult.

@_mrskennedy_ 1) that's remake nonsense that doesn't exist in the original 2) it's bad writing objectively 3) Right after than scene, Claire proceeded to leave both of them to do the events of Code Veronica and Sherry got taken by the government

@Bill_Master2 @_mrskennedy_ Leon’s entire service in the DSO and the Anti-Umbrella Pursuit Team was to ensure Sherry’s safety through government cooperation. They gained an experienced agent; Sherry received government protection. One could reason they kept contact during those years.
