Imagine two AI systems negotiating a deal between each other. In the middle of the transaction, one party starts paying the other for some kind of inference, calculation, or a simple data feed.
There is no person present and no attorney ready to step in,regular court would take at least several months to look into such an issue.
Agents do not require a slower and digital version of a human court, but something that is designed in accordance with their speed and is able to analyze the case and deliver a verdict before the transaction is dead.
In addition, it must be reliable enough so that agents themselves are ready to surrender their decision making process.

Rather than having disputes go through one AI, which can be fooled easily and which can be biased easily, Internet Court uses a panel. Multiple validators, each operating on their own model and each evaluating the evidence separately, make up that panel.
In fact, none of this is new. It all comes from Condorcet's Jury Theorem of 1785. A collection of judges who make mistakes as individuals can come up with the right answer collectively more often than not.
Genlayer just brings old math into machines rather than humans.
What comes out the other end is a dispute that used to take months now resolving in minutes. Not because the AI is smarter than a judge. Because no single point of failure, one bad mood, one biased model, gets the final word alone.
Where I'd still want a human is anything with a story the data can't capture.
