We later engaged in a discussion on the SDGs, where Dr. Eva UNFPA China guided us on their importance in promoting accountability. SDG 5 stood out, sparking deeper interest among students to build partnerships and collaborations to advance gender equality targets in communities

Today’s discussions focused on innovation and the role of young people in driving solutions to real challenges. We emphasized the My Body, My Life, My World campaign highlighting access to information and the power to make informed decisions.

We also held a hometown speech contest where 4 Kenyan team members @AkinyiStar83449 were recognized with awards. Our stories may differ and also interconnect, but what matters most is how we tell them.

Today marked the first day of our Kenya–China Youth Exchange Programme. Honoured to visit Kede University in Beijing, we received a warm welcome and engaged in meaningful discussions on technology, innovation, and their intersection with SRHR.Such discussions enable co-creation.

The government should plan in budgeting for protection of their people, especially girls and young women through sensitization on how to prevent such even before happening and providing clear guidelines on how to compensate incase of any harm caused.

Third world countries still depend on 1st world countries if not fully then largely.Supporting the developing countries through programmes that will enable them gain economic independence will boost there economies.

Availability,Accessibility and Affordability of the school programme still remains a huge burden to humble homes and especially those at rural places.All governments should consider education as a key priority to all learners.

Inequalities still remains a sensitive discussion to women and most especially girls as there's a rise on the SGBV cases .Through allocated budgets the government is able to manage this cases.

Women specifically still struggle with sense of belonging as they are affected with diversity issues..This still remains a topic of discussion to our communities and leaders at large

In Kenya the percentage of young people is 75% .This raises an alarm as most of the youth try to seek employment opportunities; even though qualified with skills required, employment still remains a disaster due to limited opportunities available .

Economic empowerment for women through programmes such as padmaking , bead making and soap making has been one of the strongest tool that GWYs under She Leads Programme leveraged on to enhance financial sustainability.

Strong partnerships and collaborations while having a gender lens perspective are very crucial as they foster unity towards achieving the common goal and meeting the commitments made during the Copanhagen Declaration. @FemnetProg @_terredeshommes #GirlsLeadCopenhagen
