Nakuru Level 5 | Mar 25 For the doctors of Nakuru Level 5, TRUST Agenda did not just resonate — it was a relief. To be heard. To be shown that a candidate for national leadership has made the journey to their hospital, walked their corridors, and understands that the struggles.

Beyond the boardroom, I made time for what has become the defining feature of this campaign: going to where the members are. We engaged doctors at Kiambu Hospital directly — listening, sharing the TRUST Agenda pillars. The reception was warm and the TRUST Agenda resonated.

🧵 My Personal Endorsement | Dr. Elizabeth Wangari Itotia for KMPDU Deputy National Treasurer Fellow members, I’ll keep this simple and straight. We are at a moment in this union where the people we put in charge of our resources must be beyond reproach. Not just competent but exceptional. Not just available but proven. Dr. Elizabeth Itotia is that person. Here’s what strikes me about her: She chose one of the most demanding, most uncharted paths in healthcare ;nuclear pharmacy at a time when there was virtually no female footprint in that space in Kenya. She didn’t pick the easy lane. She walked into the hardest room, mastered it, and led it. She now heads the Imaging department at KUTRRH, overseeing systems that demand zero margin for error. Radioactive drugs that expire in minutes. Cancer patients whose lives depend on precision. Regulatory compliance with international atomic standards. That’s not textbook knowledge. That is the daily lived reality of a woman who understands what accountability looks like when the stakes are highest. A union treasury isn’t a ceremonial seat. It’s a trust. It’s member subscriptions. It’s advocacy budgets. It’s the financial backbone of every fight we pick on behalf of doctors, pharmacists, and dentists across this country. We need someone in that seat who has operated under pressure, maintained standards without supervision, and delivered results in environments where failure was not an option. Dr. Itotia has done exactly that consistently, quietly, and excellently. This is my personal endorsement. I believe in her. I believe she will serve this union with the same integrity she has brought to every chapter of her career.
