@billatnapier Interestingly threat actors move towards using Rust as well, one of the reasons being that the compiled code is much more difficult to reverse engineer.

@JamesAgombar The bigger issue is people who have no tech background and somehow get certifications (online cheating?) and get CISO, IAM or GRC roles without any experience. My most recent boss did not know what logs were. Tech background in service delivery or support reqd

Grateful for people’s thoughts: If you work in IT and are responsible for supporting areas such as identity management, EDR policies, access policies etc. should you have a previous background in security, or should any techie do it?
