Este país es más rico en algo que Europa ya no puede recuperar Desde que vivo en El Salvador, mi forma de ver el dinero y el éxito cambió completamente. Bueno, en realidad eso ya cambió hace más de 10 años, cuando me fui de Alemania a vivir a las Islas Canarias. En Europa, muchas veces todo gira alrededor de ganar más, tener más, aparentar más. Más dinero. Más estatus. Más validación. Pero en las Islas Canrias y especialmente acá he visto algo diferente. He conocido personas que quizás no tienen mucho en lo material… pero tienen algo que no se puede comprar: paz, fe y comunidad. Gente que comparte lo poco que tiene. Gente que ayuda sin esperar nada a cambio. Gente que sonríe con una tranquilidad que en muchos países ya no existe. Y eso me hizo pensar ya desde hace mucho tiempo. De qué sirve tener más dinero… si pierdes eso en el camino? Yo no digo que el dinero no sea importante. Claro que lo es. Pero a lo largo de mi entendí algo: El verdadero valor no está en lo que tienes… sino en cómo vives, cómo tratas a los demás y en lo que hay dentro de ti. El Salvador me está enseñando eso cada día. Y sinceramente… es una de las lecciones más valiosas de mi vida. Ustedes qué opinan? Qué es éxito para ustedes? Les deseo a todos una feliz y bendecida noche, que dios me los bendiga a todos ustedes. 🙏

I was so surprised to find many peer reviwed scientific articles around this. I read a few and linked them to the thread. Very interestingly, they are trying to make it a biomarker ... in other words, a predictor of Parkinson's. The method is already utilized by the BIGGEST Parkinson's clinical trial ongoing right now. That's the LUMA trial for PD.

You make a great point. But I gave the below answer to another person in this thread ... here's the real landscape the way I see it ... I was deep diving into PD based on biology and symptoms for the past few weeks. I have honed in on 6 separate categories and each category has sub-categories... 58 total so far. not to mention the different stages of PD progression ... This is not one disease. Its a whole spectrum!! This is why biomarkers and a correct biological diagnosis are KEY. What we need is individualized PD treatment options ... because there is NO universal cure. In fact, we have been trying for a universal cure, and we know it does not work. I like where science is heading right now. We are creating new therapies to target each PD patient on the spectrum. On top of that, there are clinical trials to find ways to slow progression and boost dopamine production. But the best ... finding biomarkers to detect PD risk way before any dopamine-producing neurons are lost. That way, we target from the very beginning.

Haha, yes 🥏🤲🤲🥏122 .. I like that better. But the reality behind the name is not my favorite explanation. BIIB is the prefix that comes from the merger of Biogen and Idec Pharmaceuticals in 2003. Although the company rebranded to just "Biogen" in 2015, they kept BIIB as their Nasdaq stock ticker and the prefix for all experimental drugs in their pipeline (for example ... BIIB080, BIIB115).

La finca transmite paz, naturaleza, orden, visión y propósito. Es un espacio donde uno no solo llega a tomar café o comer un pastel… es un lugar donde uno siente que algo bueno está pasando para esta región y para las personas que viven aquí. Recomiendo de corazón a todos los que tengan la oportunidad que visiten la finca en Los Naranjos. Caminen el lugar, conozcan el proyecto, disfruten un café, respiren el ambiente… vale totalmente la pena. Pero me gustaría hablar especialmente de algo más importante que el café o el lugar. Quiero expresar mi profunda gratitud hacia Murphy y todo su equipo. Yo personalmente no conozco a Murphy. Nunca hemos hablado. Pero hay cosas que uno puede ver incluso desde afuera: cuando alguien trabaja con propósito, con visión y con amor por las personas. Lo que está haciendo con la finca no solo beneficia esta zona de Los Naranjos. También sabemos que existen fundaciones, proyectos e iniciativas en otras regiones e incluso en otros países. Y eso merece respeto. Porque sí: existen muchas personas con dinero en el mundo. Pero no todas usan sus recursos para hacer el bien. No todas invierten en personas. No todas construyen oportunidades. No todas trabajan por su comunidad. No todas piensan en las futuras generaciones. Por eso quiero decir gracias. Gracias por invertir en esta región. Gracias por crear oportunidades. Gracias por creer en El Salvador. Gracias por aportar algo positivo al mundo. Y algo más que también quiero decir con mucho respeto: Aunque no lo conozco personalmente, desde afuera parece que Murphy es una persona que cree en Dios y que intenta vivir según los principios de Jesús. Y eso hoy en día no es algo común. Para mí eso es un ejemplo. Un ejemplo de que vale la pena confiar en Dios. Un ejemplo de que vale la pena vivir con valores. Un ejemplo de que vale la pena usar nuestras capacidades para ayudar a otros. Un ejemplo de que el éxito verdadero no solo se mide en dinero, sino en impacto. Todos podemos aprender algo de esto. Creer en Dios. Seguir los valores de Jesús. Servir a otros. Hacer el bien donde estamos. Construir en lugar de destruir. Ese tipo de ejemplo inspira. Gracias Murphy. Gracias al equipo. Gracias por lo que están haciendo aquí en Los Naranjos y más allá. 🙏 Y a todos los que lean esto: Si tienen la oportunidad, visiten la finca de Murves Life.
