@garrethmcdaid @Ryanair Totally. Ryanair added friction so you either now pay extra in time or money for something that is standard everywhere, i.e. a check in process to receive a ticket that gets you to the gate. I don’t mind random seat allocation, but this newly added extra step is just wrong.

@ryanair if this is true I'm out. The model is "unbundling". We supported it, despite its jagged edges. This takes it too far.

@Ryanair I just can’t believe your new policy of not allowing passengers to create a boarding pass (mobile or print-out) unless they buy a seat, forcing them to join a check-in queue (30m or longer) to do so for no other reason for you to make a few quid. Scandalous.

I’ve long thought that MB probably would leave once he felt he hadn’t progressed the club any further season-on-season and this season is the first backwards step, results wise. He was probably unlikely to stay in that context and leaving at the end of this contract anyway.
