@YoungRichie75 The seed is the word of God, the word that saves. That makes it the gospel. What did the rocky soil do in all three accounts?

Many have and do for the last 2000 yrs. The rocky soil, carnal Corinthians and Laodiceans are ALL saved/justified, born-again believers doing nothing or little with their salvation. That's a loss of reward at the bema seat. Discipleship is not salvation. gracelife.org/resources/lord…
Kitt The Provisionist ✝️🩸🌎@Just4Tweets1986

@EllaFlash Believing on Jesus and following Jesus are inseparable, you cannot do one without the other. Repentance is literally a necessity of believing on Jesus. Even believing in faith is something you do, or do you deny faith is an action?

They're trying to convince the world that Israel, this yellow dot, a state the size of New Jersey and the only Jewish state in the world, surrounded by Muslim nations, is the “occupier.” Do they realize how stupid they sound?

@snh504983133281 Understood. Difficult to tell when works-based salvationists use this one to trash the gospel of our salvation. Most miss the context of many verses because they cherry pick them and give them their own meaning. Eisegesis is the hermeneutic of choice in the deadbirdtrenches.

This is where the gospel of our salvation goes sideways. Following Jesus is discipleship not salvation. Salvation & discipleship are definitely separate in all of scripture. A dead (unprofitable faith is still a saving faith). What do the demons actually believe in James 2:19?...
Kitt The Provisionist ✝️🩸🌎@Just4Tweets1986

@EllaFlash Pamela I said yes, from childbirth I've followed Jesus. Nowhere in Scripture does it separate believing and following Jesus, except for one place - a dead faith that believes only but does not follow. Even the demons believe. I'm born again, saved by grace through faith in Christ

@jesus_is_issue What is the context in James 2:19? It's in the very first sentence.

JESUS — A SALVATION THAT WORKS Yes, we understand that salvation squarely rests on grace without adding our efforts. That’s important. But Scripture doesn’t split salvation and discipleship into separate categories like that. Salvation is receiving the risen Jesus Christ Himself by faith. It’s not just mental assent to facts about God, even if demons do that in Jas 2:‌19. It’s welcoming His very life into our spirit. From there, following isn’t a later upgrade we choose. It’s the same Christ now living in us and expressing Himself through us. Gal 2:‌20 puts it plainly, the life we live is His, by faith in the Son who loved us. James calls faith without works dead and useless, not because works earn anything, but because real faith opens the door to Christ’s activity flowing out. If there’s no outworking of His character, it shows the faith wasn’t receptive to Him in the first place. The demons tremble at truth without union. We get the union. It’s all one reality in Christ, Col 1:‌27, salvation that naturally disciples us from the inside out by His power, not our program.

@EllaFlash Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

@Just4Tweets1986 I find it sad that most miss the context in James 2:19, when it is in the very 1st sentence. FYI, the rocky soil are saved. They received the seed/word/gospel with joy even. Justification guarantees glorification. Justification is a moment in time. Don't miss salvation.

@EllaFlash 1 John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. "a dead unprofitable faith is still a saving faith" is literally what James warned us about, its the same faith demons have.

Post the heresy. I will never be told depart from me, "I never knew you." How do I know? I have done the Father's will. Have you x peeps? Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation? Is your faith in Him and His finished work?

@EllaFlash Another reason why women should not teach. Ancient heresy reborn here in @EllaFlash's post. the Lord will say to you: "Depart from me, I never knew you." if you practice this nonsense.

@chris_blodgett I don't preach the gospel of the kingdom, that was a corporate, national message specifically offered to the nation of Israel. Was there a reason for your lecture to me, because this is not how we start off communication when meeting.

Start here with a commandment to Rightly divide the Word, 2 Timothy 2:15. Paul’s epistles are written TO us every other book is for us, and all scripture is profitable, 2 Timothy 3:16. When you do this, you understand we are not under the Hebrew epistles, Hebrews thru Revelation or the OT, M, M, L, & John. This will clear up all confusion and the Bible will come alive for you. You Can’t Preach the Gospel of the Kingdom and the Gospel of Grace as the Same Message Many sincere believers assume that every “gospel” in the Bible is simply the same message repeated in different ways. But when we slow down and let Scripture speak, we discover something important: The Bible speaks of more than one gospel message in different dispensational settings. Not different ways of salvation. Not different Saviors. Not different crosses. But different messages God revealed at different times according to His purpose. And if we don’t recognize that distinction, we end up blending things God kept separate. Let the Bible guide us. ▪️The Gospel of the Kingdom When Jesus and the twelve began their ministry, the message was clear: “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” — Matthew 4:17 The twelve were sent specifically to Israel. “Go not into the way of the Gentiles… But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” — Matthew 10:5–6 Their message centered on the promised earthly kingdom God had spoken of through the prophets. Peter continued this message after the resurrection: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted… And he shall send Jesus Christ… Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.” — Acts 3:19–21 Notice the phrase. “Since the world began.” This message belonged to prophecy. It was promised. It was spoken. It was expected. Israel’s kingdom hope. ▪️The Gospel of the Grace of God But later, something new appears in Scripture. Paul says something remarkable: “But none of these things move me… so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry… to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” — Acts 20:24 This gospel centers on the finished work of Christ and justification by faith alone. “Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day…” — 1 Corinthians 15:3–4 And Paul makes something else very clear: “According to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began.” — Romans 16:25 Notice the contrast. • Kingdom message: spoken since the world began • Grace message: kept secret since the world began One was prophesied. The other was a mystery revealed later. ▪️Why This Matters When we try to preach both messages as if they are the same, confusion follows. We mix: • Israel and the Body of Christ • Prophecy and Mystery • Law expectations and Grace liberty • The kingdom program and the dispensation of grace But when we rightly divide the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15), the Bible suddenly becomes clear. God was doing one thing through Israel. Now He is doing something different through the Body of Christ. Not contradiction. Progressive revelation. ▪️The Good News for Today Today, God is not offering the earthly kingdom to Israel. Today He is offering grace to the world. Complete forgiveness. Justification by faith. A position in the Body of Christ. All based on the finished crosswork of Christ. No rituals. No kingdom requirements. No uncertainty. Just grace. “For by grace are ye saved through faith… not of works, lest any man should boast.” — Ephesians 2:8–9 So let’s preach the message God gave for this dispensation. Not the gospel of the kingdom. But the gospel of the grace of God. Clear. Pure. Unmixed. Because when grace is preached clearly, souls find rest in what Christ has already finished. And that is truly good news.

@Bombasotta Luke 1:41 — "When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit." Holy Spirit filled. Spirit baptism is the new circumcision. Water baptism is an outward public testimony of the believer's position in Christ.

@Bombasotta As far as water baptism, it is not for infants and Jesus did give an ordinance to baptize to the Church as a public testimony/ symbol of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. Give a testimony to your salvation. If you...
