Our dear friend Ellen McWilliams spoke last night at West Belfast Orange Hall to the Order's Historical Society.  Her talk followed engagements last year at West Belfast Feile and the Connolly Centre.  Our thanks to the people of the Shankill for their trust and support.

Dr Ellen McWilliams of Exeter University will speak about her writing and outreach at West Belfast Orange Hall, 342-4, Shankill Road at 7pm on Wed 3 Dec.  Ellen's book 'Resting Places' tells her West Cork family's history and reflects on the Bandon Valley Massacre of April 1922.

I am deeply honoured that my book The Bass Player; Surviving The Miami Showband Massacre has been shortlisted for An Post 2025 Irish Book Awards - Biography of the Year. Thanks to all who helped me to make this happen. I share this nomination with all who seek justice and truth.
