@EllenRae19 Show students videos or even give them a photo stimulus. This will promote discussion between students where they will begin to drive their own learning! Have you thought about using De Bono's thinking hats? This would be a great idea to foster a more student-driven lesson!

If this understanding is reflected in your pedagogy, your students will benefit tremendously.
