Today, the Dallas Police Department announced the arrests of two suspects connected to a New Year’s Eve gunfire incident on the I-30 bridge that was captured in a widely circulated video and viewed worldwide. Anthony Acevedo, 20, and Jose AlarconSanchez, 18, both of Grand Prairie, were seen in multiple social media videos firing weapons from the Margaret McDermott Bridge just west of Downtown Dallas. Detectives with the Central Patrol Division and the Special Investigations Unit launched an aggressive and exhaustive investigation, with assistance from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Investigators recovered more than 100 shell casings near the scene. During the investigation, detectives learned that AlarconSanchez had been arrested by the Grand Prairie Police Department for a similar offense in their city during the early morning hours of January 1, 2026. As the investigation continued, detectives uncovered evidence linking 25-year-old Anderson Derce Lara to a separate road-rage shooting in November. In that incident, Derce Lara fired multiple rounds into a vehicle occupied by three adults and three children. With assistance from the ATF, investigators executed a search warrant and recovered multiple firearms, including the rifles seen in the social media video. Acevedo and AlarconSanchez are charged with Discharge of a Firearm in Certain Municipalities, a Class A misdemeanor. Derce Lara is charged with six counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, a first-degree felony. Acevedo has since been released on bond. Both AlarconSanchez and Derce Lara have immigration holds. “If you put lives at risk in Dallas, we will identify you, investigate thoroughly, and hold you accountable,” said Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux. #DallasNews

I’m sorry but we are overrun by the unintended consequences of playing God with our misguided bleeding heart charity around the world during the 20th century. I admit, to my shame, that I supported much of it, because I felt so much compassion for suffering human beings around the globe. But what did we reap from all that charity on the backs of generous American taxpayers? An overpopulated planet filled with people and nations who despise us and believe we are weak and stupid, because that is the face we presented to the world for the last century. Have a war you can’t win? Sure thing. We’ll gladly spend our precious blood and treasure to bail you out so you can live to hate us and betray us and try to destroy us. Have a large starving and sick population in a land too poor to feed and sustain its own? Of course we will save you. We’ll send all the food and medicine money can buy, so your people can survive in spite of inhabiting a place that could never sustain so many. What will you do in return? Turn around to bite the naive hand that nurtured you, calling us vile names when you invade our borders and do your best to turn our precious country into the hell-holes you escaped only to proceed to destroy from within. Lie, cheat, and steal from us? Of course you do, and our shamefully ignorant and blind citizens will stand with you and help you until America, the former shining city on a hill, topples into the dust and is no more. No. Never. You have at long last awakened the sleeping giant and we have defended ourselves with our God given leadership, and we will stand behind that leadership until every last one of you is driven away in horrific defeat. We have been so quiet and walked so softly while behind the scenes we have developed the most terrible weapons that ever existed on the face of the earth with which our brave patriots will crush our enemies into oblivion. Want to send us some of your downtrodden people? Send us people of character, people who will work hard to achieve and protect the great American Dream. Keep your criminals, your insane, your lying cheating animals at home with you where they belong. Behold the sleeping giant as he rises to stand tall and proud against the evils that surround us in every direction. Build your own utopias with your own blood and treasure as we did ours. Do not expect our weak and compromised to aid you ever again. Our great leader has exposed them and crushed them until our awakened patriots will never grovel to them again. They are our most evil enemies, those who almost destroyed our beautiful, God given country with their evil lies. They almost succeeded, but that is what it took to wake up and open our lazy , betraying and betrayed eyes to the corruption that surrounded us and almost choked the life from us. It was no more than we deserved for taking the spoiled and easy way to hang onto our beautiful pampered lives, distracted by the plentiful loaves and circuses. But NO MORE. Our loving God heard our cries and our undeserving pleas. HE has come to our aid and given us a chance to prove ourselves HIS loving and loyal followers who were once blinded by our soft and greedy natures. We slept. We tolerated the evil amongst us, but that is over and done. We almost followed the path of Ozymandius. Almost.

@rockwallschools We still have a two foot drif between the front door and the driveway. The driveway is still covered in ice. I’m not sure what the roads look like, but our driveway and front porch are covered with a big sheet of ice
