On the 29th of April, I underwent life changing open heart surgery to have my Aortic valve and ascending part of my aorta replaced. Ultimately, after numerous chats with specialists, I have no choice but to retire from playing football due to the seriousness of the surgery 1/2

Update on brad. Manipulation hasn’t worked properly so likely going to do it again when the registrar comes in, in the next hour or so. Then got to wait for the consultant to try and get him in for surgery today or tomorrow. Dr thinks that he is going to have a rod and screws in.
