Update on Alex ! During our Pre Season friendly with Chalford yesterday, a terrible accident happened which resulted in the game being abandoned. Unfortunately we have received news that our player Alex Gayner suffered a double fib and tib break.Alex has just come out of his 1st operation and will be in hospital for around 10 days due to needing a 2nd. Everyone at the club is wishing him all the best and will be there for whatever he needs to support him back to fitness! A huge thank you must be said to everyone that helped yesterday with Alex, we know he really appreciated it! 💙

A disappointing day out at @BittonAFC yesterday, as we slumped to a 3-1 defeat in the @IsuzuFAVase. However, there was some cause for celebration as @MacaulayH made his 300th competitive first team appearance. A fantastic achievement & sign of commitment to the club.

Really proud of our little man ⚽️ 1st EFL game of the season for Forest Green Rovers Football Club U9’s against a strong Plymouth Argyle FC team. Scored 8 goals 😍 in a convincing win 🔥💚🖤

🄲🄻🅄🄱 🅂🅃🄰🅃🄴🄼🄴🄽🅃 The club is sad to announce that for personal reasons, Richard Luffman has decided to step down from his role as manager of our 1st XI. It is a busy time for Rich as he and Rachel approach the birth of their second child. Coupled with the running of his business and an upcoming stomach operation, it means he has less time available to commit to managing a football side at a high level of non league football. @Luffers85 record in his time with us speaks for itself, taking the club to its highest ever position in the football pyramid, whilst winning 76 of the 114 league games that he has managed. He led us to the @HellenicLeague Cup in 2021/2022 and the Hellenic League in 2022/2023 along with taking us on our furthest run in the FA Cup during this season. His dedication and will to win are second to none. Rich has set high standards for all involved and has taken the club to a level of which we could only have dreamt, leaving us placed third in the @SouthernLeague1 Division One South. We sincerely thank Rich for his fantastic efforts, wishing he and his lovely family all the best for the future💙 #UTC #bristolfootball

Is U8’s to young to trial or be scouted by academies? I am sure a lot of parents will ask themselves that question! They are still so young. I guess development is key but enjoyment must be the end goal 🤷🏻‍♂️⚽️
