Here's some pics of the new PPX board. It adds 12 GPIO pins to your #raspberrypi which can be configured as PWM, digital IO, ADC, or quadrature encoder inputs. Up to 4 boards can be stacked for more GPIO pins!

First day of the #PiWars Conference 2021 has been excellent. Big shout out to the gang of four @rwhb2 @recantha @Geeky_Tim and not forgetting @Worlds6440 for arranging. Great talks from the speakers, thank you all for taking the time putting them together.

@PiDrogen This is really cool, love how it stacks them all on the same run, and yes like others have commented here finding the drop off location is excellent 🙂. I would love to see the cube grab mechanism you have made.

I do enjoy doing a bit of wiring. Creativeness coupled with calmness, and very satisfying when you have all the parts and tools you need on hand. Another job done on the @Yuri_3_Rover upgrade list. 🤘😁🤘

The multi-function LED on @Yuri_3_Rover's embedded Redboard+ blinking out the wlan IP address and indicating battery voltage is really useful when you're running on battery and switching between usb WiFi dongles. Thanks @NeilRedRobotics for a great product, and your support. 👍

Very happy to receive my @NeilRedRobotics Redrobotics boards, I have multiple robots needing these 🙂, with the new MX2 add on boards they are great for multi wheeled robots where you need individual control like mechnum wheels need.

My weekend project moving from breadboard testing to a prototype for my low power remote sensors, designing a pcb would really help reduce the wiring on the back of these.

I can highly recommend this book, and has some good programming techniques and great for ideas in robot building

@Worlds6440 The tyres were fine when using a plastic or 3D printed chassis, but the one I took to Piwars last year did this which had a fair amount of metal in the chassis

@ElliotPittam I'm curious. I have seen 2 identical versions of these tires. One like mine and another that were ridiculously soft. What is the weight of your bot an how much did they flatten by? I can do a quick test on mine and compare

No I am not making small cakes, I am using expanding foam to make the tyres for my robot less swishy under the weight of the heaver chassis, although they did rise like cakes :)
