@NeilRedRobotics You have busy again, this new board looks really good Neil 🙂

Here's some pics of the new PPX board. It adds 12 GPIO pins to your #raspberrypi which can be configured as PWM, digital IO, ADC, or quadrature encoder inputs. Up to 4 boards can be stacked for more GPIO pins!

First day of the #PiWars Conference 2021 has been excellent. Big shout out to the gang of four @rwhb2 @recantha @Geeky_Tim and not forgetting @Worlds6440 for arranging. Great talks from the speakers, thank you all for taking the time putting them together.

@PiDrogen This is really cool, love how it stacks them all on the same run, and yes like others have commented here finding the drop off location is excellent 🙂. I would love to see the cube grab mechanism you have made.

Such a great use of old hardware Neil, so many places would have just thrown these away. I like the case and way you can store the keyboard inside when not in use. @NeilRedRobotics

In my latest project, I save a load of old laptops from being thrown away by turning them into fancy new computers! @GraveneySchool @RestartProject hackaday.io/project/176450… via @hackadayio

@NeaveEng @JohnChinner @Worlds6440 @NeilRedRobotics I agree these are great boards to get you up and running and concentrate on the fun robotics tasks :)

@ZodiusInfuser @Yuri_3_Rover connectorisation of the wiring harness really makes maintenance and upgrades much simpler. Spend to save!
English

I do enjoy doing a bit of wiring.
Creativeness coupled with calmness, and very satisfying when you have all the parts and tools you need on hand.
Another job done on the @Yuri_3_Rover upgrade list. 🤘😁🤘

The multi-function LED on @Yuri_3_Rover's embedded Redboard+ blinking out the wlan IP address and indicating battery voltage is really useful when you're running on battery and switching between usb WiFi dongles.
Thanks @NeilRedRobotics for a great product, and your support. 👍

Very happy to receive my @NeilRedRobotics Redrobotics boards, I have multiple robots needing these 🙂, with the new MX2 add on boards they are great for multi wheeled robots where you need individual control like mechnum wheels need.

English

This is a great addition to redboard functionality and expansion, great timing for those using redboards for Piwars @PiWarsRobotics

Absolutely loving the RedBoard+ control panel by @approx_eng it makes setting up your motors and servos a breeze! Check it out at github.com/ApproxEng/RedB…

Anyone in #Australia privy to the @Raspberry_Pi 8GB model AUD pricing? @CoreElecAU is currently offline and @lbhq are still updating their store. #rpi4

Am happy another old #ThinkPad is usable with #Linux (only has two gig of ram which means #Windows10 is a no-no for sure).
Took 16 minutes to install, it’s great to #reuse old tech 🥳

@Worlds6440 The tyres were fine when using a plastic or 3D printed chassis, but the one I took to Piwars last year did this which had a fair amount of metal in the chassis
English

@ElliotPittam I'm curious. I have seen 2 identical versions of these tires. One like mine and another that were ridiculously soft.
What is the weight of your bot an how much did they flatten by? I can do a quick test on mine and compare
