@Vampfree1110228 @willieckerslike @kateferguson4 Child benefit is a recognition of the cost of raising children, not a ‘bung’ - having five under 18s is an I credibly feat, and for both parents to be working too! They should be getting medals, not snide remarks

@willieckerslike @kateferguson4 Take working parents on that sort of income, once claim child benefit for >2 children, they won't have paid any tax at all effectively. I know a couple who between them pay about £3k tax, by the time they have their child benefit for 5 kids they will have got £5k back (per annum)
