بازداشت «مهدی شفاخواه» مربی داوطلب کودکان کار توسط نیروهای وزارت اطلاعات #مهدی_شفاخواه، مربی داوطلب ورزش کودکان کار که سال‌ها در محروم‌ترین محلات کشور به آموزش و حمایت از کودکان آسیب‌پذیر مشغول بوده، بازداشت شد. بر اساس گزارش‌های منتشرشده، بعدازظهر روز سه‌شنبه ۲۲ اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۵، نیروهای وزارت اطلاعات جمهوری اسلامی با حضور در منزل شخصی مهدی شفاخواه، او را بازداشت کردند. همچنین مأموران امنیتی گوشی تلفن همراه همسر وی را نیز ضبط کرده‌اند. پیش‌تر نیز تلفن همراه شخصی مهدی شفاخواه توقیف شده بود. تا لحظه تنظیم این خبر، هیچ توضیح رسمی درباره دلیل بازداشت یا عنوان اتهامی منتسب به وی ارائه نشده است. مهدی شفاخواه به‌عنوان مربی داوطلب، سال‌ها در زمینه آموزش ورزشی به کودکان کار و ساکن مناطق محروم فعالیت داشته و به گفته نزدیکان، نقش مهمی در دور نگه داشتن بسیاری از کودکان از آسیب‌های اجتماعی ایفا کرده است. گفتنی است، وی برادر رضا شفاخواه است؛ وکیلی که در زمینه دفاع داوطلبانه از کودکان آسیب‌دیده و زندانیان سیاسی فعالیت داشته است.

The United Kingdom has endlessly appeased the criminal regime in Iran. I spoke today with Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian, as well as with U.S. President Donald Trump. I told both of them that their decision to accept a ceasefire was the best possible one. I expressed my hope that the ceasefire will be fully respected by each of the belligerents, across all areas of confrontation, including in Lebanon. This is a necessary condition for the ceasefire to be credible and lasting. It must open the way to comprehensive negotiations capable of ensuring security for all in the Middle East. Any agreement will have to address the concerns raised by Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, as well as its regional policy and its actions obstructing navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. This is how a strong and lasting peace can be built, with the support of all those who are able to contribute to it. France will play its full part, in close coordination with its partners in the Middle East. This is also what I discussed today in my exchanges with the leaders of Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and Iraq.

It’s now day 39 of Trump’s illegal regional war that has had deadly and catastrophic consequences. There has been no clear plan or rationale, no strategy, and no Congressional authorization or input as required by the Constitution. Thousands of civilians have been tragically killed across the region, American servicemembers have died and suffered unnecessarily, and millions are displaced from Lebanon to the Gulf. Trump and Pete Hegseth have already committed explicit war crimes by bombing schools, hospitals, bridges, and water desalination plants. This isn’t partisan. Republicans, Democrats, and Independents now know that Trump is dangerous and unfit. Whether through impeachment or by invoking the 25th Amendment, it is far past time Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth are removed from office. Cabinet officials like JD Vance will be forever tied to this war if they do nothing. We need urgent action for the sake of our national security and the safety and security of the rest of the world. I’m also demanding that Mike Johnson immediately call the House back into session so we can pass the bipartisan War Powers Resolution and ensure that Trump and Hegseth can never again resume this disastrous war. I pray this ceasefire holds, and I pray for peace and freedom for the Iranian people.
