@2147mill I agree, I think the concerns of a bubble are more inline with the breadth of +/-ve yearly valuations being so narrow. That and the current crises causing nerves around financial stability.

Everyone is comparing the current S&P 500 to the dot com crash. I disagree. Completely. In 2000 the internet was a concept. Valuations were built on hope and zero revenue. Today the S&P 500 is: → Apple. The most profitable company ever built. → Nvidia. The backbone of every AI model on earth. → Microsoft. Running the cloud infrastructure of the global economy. → Amazon. The logistics layer of modern civilisation. This isn't speculation. This is the actual infrastructure the world runs on. More money flows into the S&P 500 today than at any point in history. Pension funds. Sovereign wealth funds. Central banks. Global powers won't let this fail. They can't. The S&P 500 collapsing doesn't mean a recession. It means civilisation stops functioning. Dot com was a bubble built on promises. This is a market built on things the entire world depends on daily. Not the same. Not even close. Thoughts? Keen to hear.

Huge day for me personally, officially a homeowner. Crypto has really changed my life for the better in many ways. Erased all my student loans, paid my parents mortgage off and retired them, and now helped me buy my first house. Met some pretty damn good people here as well Eternally grateful

Something that doesn't get considered enough with projects launching a token is just how damaging existing infrastructure can be to the tokens health (and by extension the health of the project). The market for on-chain user infrastructure is bigger than the market for projects with tokens, meaning that most infrastructure is built to benefit users > projects because that's where the money is for those businesses (LPing is a good example here). Another associated risk here (especially with AI increasing build rate/decreasing build cost) is that you don't know what new tech or infrastructure is just over the horizon. Nor do you know how damaging it could be to what you've built already - there is a genuine possibility that something releases tomorrow that allows people to game your system into oblivion. Lock shit down. Expand and integrate after careful consideration. Friction is a feature. 🧪
