This exact problem happened last year & we were without an inter-island LIFE LINE service for months. Myself & my son now face 5 & half hours on a ferry tomorrow evening instead of 55min to get home. It’s not good enough. @Torcuil @alasdairallan @CalMac_Updates @CalMacFerries

This technical issue began in SEPTEMBER…when will fixing MV Loch Portain become a priority? Instead of an hour long ferry journey tomorrow we will be almost 5 hours on MV Hebrides going via Uig to get from Lewis to North Uist… @CalMacFerries @CalMac_Updates
