What was actually going on was a classic incident of a man disliking that a woman sets a boundary, and feeling like he had a right to her time.

All I said was that I didn't have the energy to have that conversation or deal with his anti-vax arguments at that time. He began gaslighting me, acting upset because I was "not respecting his opinions".

I got insulted for refusing to engage with someone laying out their anti-vax arguments yesterday. He called me "rude" and a "dumb journalist". Thing is: you don't owe it to anyone to get dragged into a debate. You have the right to opt-out to preserve your sanity.
