I watched the full two hour interview of Gavin Ortlund by Lila Rose, so that you don’t have to. Below is a theological liberal supercut: 1) Ortlund and Rose both attended Ruslan KD’s “Bless God Summit.” I’m not against all conferences, but no serious person should be partnering with someone as compromised as Ruslan KD. 2) Ortlund agreed with Rose’s toxic empathy perspective for evildoers, where she tries to imagine baby murderers as misunderstood children. Ortlund also added the Imago Dei to the discussion, of course. 3) Ortlund promoted ecumenism at the “Bless God Summit” between Protestant, Catholic, and Eastern Orthodox. 4) Ortlund said the one and only thing he’d ask Martin Luther about was antisemitism, of course. 5) After correctly pointing out that women shouldn’t be pastors, Ortlund immediately took shots at masculinity and promoted the “servant-leadership” idea that originates from complementarian theology. 6) Ortlund said that Tim Keller was his favorite apologist, a now deceased woke false teacher. It is possible for genuine born-again Christians to be blinded by ethnic partiality. But if said Christian is confronted with his sin and refuses to repent, it calls into question the validity of his born again status.

Today is the 93rd anniversary of the burning of the library of Jew Magnus Hirschfeld’s Institut für Sexualwissenschaft (Institute of Sexology/Sexual Science) in Berlin. On that glorious day, students from the German Student Union raided the institute, and about 50,000 volumes of various perversions were burned in Berlin’s Opernplatz (now Bebelplatz). All across Germany on the same night, there were other coordinated burnings as part of a “Campaign Against the Un-German Spirit.” Works by other Jewish authors like Freud, Einstein, Marx, and Heine were also burned. Unfortunately, Hirschfeld himself avoided the rope by being abroad on a lecture tour at the time. Hirschfeld coined the term “transsexualism” and performed some of the first mutilations that are now called “gender-affirming surgeries.” He also championed the right of women to murder their children. He died in exile in France in 1935, and unlike his books, he now burns eternally.

One who says law by it's very nature is just has failed to live in the world. The point of Romans 13 is not a blank check for state-based depravity. See AD Robles.

If you break the law in a country, but the law is unjust according to God's (higher law), have you not still broken the law? Is not the state just to punish you, according to their jurisprudence, even though you have not erred in God's sight? I really struggle how someone could "have no idea" what I mean by that.
