Hey Bryson! "Golf Physicist" here:
You’re hooking it because your "home made clubs" are biasing face-to-path left before you even swing.
When lie angle is too upright, it effectively tilts the clubface plane left of your intended target line (for a right-handed player).
An upright lie shifts the delivered face angle left, and it also alters how the sole interacts with the turf. The heel strikes first, slowing it down relative to the toe. That differential can increase face closure rate through impact, further driving face-to-path negative.
So even if your path is neutral, the face is already left. If your path is slightly in-to-out, now you’ve created a classic hook condition: face left of target, but still closed relative to path.
Hope this helps you fucking dork

Right on schedule. Time to commence phase 2 (complaining about golf ball manufacturers) Truly a tradition unlike any other.

I understand the game are different but I’m worried about this game after playing crimson desert.
Will it have that level of detail and open world like Crimson Desert does. This is nothing to do with the studio btw as I’ll still be playing day 1 but it’ll just be me but hopefully I still enjoy it.

Turning my #CrimsonDesert home into a cozy vibe and I’m loving it 🏡✨ Just wish the devs would let us decorate the outside too—I need flowers 🌸 and chairs 🪑 outside 🌿
Would be nice to have private storage there too 📦🔐
Next up: building out my base for farming, crops, and raising animals 🐄🌾🐓 Cozy grind continues 🌾💚

The more i play Crimson Desert. The more i really dont understand professional journalism at all. This game is AT LEAST 9 out of 10. No joke. The amount of detail, the world BREATHES life, hidden treasure and puzzles all over the place. Quests wherever you go. At your own pace. This game doesn't hold your hand. And thats a GOOD thing. Go out and have a blast. HOWEVER you want at your own pace. Im 25 hours in. And im STILL at the 1st area and still exploring. This game is HUGE. But huge in a very good way. Its a breathing living world and not just an empty map. Wow. This game is AMAZING.
Now back to the game. Lets explore some more shall we 👍💯👑💙

🚨 NAVY SLEEP CONDITIONS JUST WENT VIRAL — SAILOR SAYS “I CAN’T EVEN BREATHE IN IT”
A Navy sailor records the moment it hits her.
This is where she’s supposed to sleep.
• Barely enough room to turn
• Inches from the wall
• Fully enclosed, stacked compartments
• No real airflow, no space
Then she says: “I can’t even breathe in it… I feel claustrophobic.”
Some are defending it:
“It’s the military, that’s how it is”
Others aren’t buying it:
“This looks inhumane”
“No way people actually live like this”
Thousands of sailors… sleeping like this every night.
Does this build toughness or break people down?

Clavicular says that going to a pub, having a beer, and watching sports is one of the worst things you can do
“Engaging with people in real life? There’s really not that many people that are worth interacting with, I would say”
“Most people have completely misprioritized lives. The average person you meet is like an enjoyer of sports who drinks beer, like ‘let’s go have a beer at the pub and watch Sunday football,’ and that’s the worst thing you could do. You should be on PubMed reading studies on how you could look max”
“Most of humanity is sort of enslaved to these consumer habits that prevent them from ascending”

Dear Toronto Blue Jays fans at Rogers Centre:
Thank you for (mostly) playing it classy tonight, and resisting the temptation to boo the American anthem.
While I'm as livid at America as you are, I'm glad you didn't.
Because I noticed some American players on our team were singing the Canadian anthem, with reverence, and solemn respect.
Your decision to take the high road made it easier for them to do that.
You created a beautiful, powerful moment of mutual respect.
You reminded me our problem is with Donald Trump, and not most Americans.
Bravo.

@fantasyfooty Its interesting that so far the only two characters that get called mudblood are black...

I'm not against Snape being black in the new Harry Potter series. I'm not against it on principle.
There are obviously some pretty awful things and memes being said/shared that are clearly just racist. But it isn't necessarily racist to be a bit annoyed the character has been changed from the book's description, because his appearance carries meaning.
1. Snape is specifically and deliberately described as having "sallow skin" and being "pale." It mirrors the same pale complexion Voldemort has, which is partly why Snape always feels suspicious. They're designed as visual inversions of each other: Snape has a big hooked nose, Voldemort has a flat snakelike one. The whole point of Snape is that he LOOKS like the villain. Everything about his physical description screams untrustworthy. That's Rowling's deliberate misdirection, teaching readers not to judge by appearances. Change the appearance, you risk losing the power of that twist.
2. There's also an irony nobody seems to be talking about. By making Snape the suspicious, untrustworthy, seemingly villainous character AND the only prominent black actor in the cast, you've actually created the exact optics you were presumably trying to avoid. The one black guy is the one everyone's supposed to distrust? How is that progressive?
3. People are making a false equivalence with Hermione being black in the Cursed Child. That's completely fine because the books never say she's white in the text, and it doesn't affect her story either way. Snape's appearance is different. It's written into the plot.
4. The writers now have a real issue down the line. How are they going to portray Snape being bullied when younger? How are they going to portray James Potter suspending Snape upside down with Levicorpus? Surely they aren't going to force racist undertones onto Lupin, Potter, Black and Pettigrew? PLEASE do not turn this into some politically driven TV series where the Marauders' cruelty becomes a racial storyline. That would ruin both Snape AND James.
