@ShelbyElli97724 @ElusifYT @RinoTheBouncer You didn’t prove anything other than you’re not as good at the game as you think brodie

Hey Greymanes,
We’re currently preparing our next update which will include several features mentioned in last week's Dev Update notice, including the addition of a keyboard/mouse and controller preset, difficulty settings, category tabs for your inventory, and more. We want to take our time with testing and polishing things before we roll the patch out, which we expect to do sometime next week. Also, due to the distant scenery quality improvements we are adding in, this patch size will be larger than our previous ones. We hope you're looking forward to this update, and thanks for your patience and support!

Crimson Desert has just dropped one of its biggest updates yet, and honestly, this might be the one that finally ticks all the boxes for me.
They’ve added new skills for Damiane and Oongka, letting them use Force Palm and Axiom Force, which is a really nice touch. On top of that, you can now hide Kliff’s shield and weapons, which is something I’ve wanted for ages.
Camera customisation has also had a big upgrade—you can fully adjust positioning now, even bringing it closer into that over-the-shoulder style similar to RDR2. It already feels like a huge improvement.
Fast travel has been made way more convenient too. You can now use it while mounted, falling, swimming, or even climbing, which just makes everything flow better.
The map has been improved as well, so it’s much clearer what you’ve already explored—visited caves, opened chests, and restored Abyss areas all stand out properly now.
Combat’s had some love too, with better lock-on during boss fights, plus a new “Focused Aerial Roll” ability for Kliff that adds a bit more depth when using Focus.
There are also platform-specific upgrades like PSSR sharpness for PS5 Pro, enhanced ray tracing options for PS5 and Series X, and Intel Arc GPU support on PC. Lighting and reflections indoors have been cleaned up across the board too.
On top of all that, you can now adjust fast-forward speed up to 4x, there’s new music in loading screens and exploration, and some Abyss puzzles have been made clearer so you’re not left guessing what to interact with.
This update genuinely feels like a massive step forward. The ability to hide weapons, tweak the camera, and improve fast travel were my biggest asks—and they’ve nailed all of it. The fact this came together in under a month is seriously impressive.
Huge credit to the devs for this one 👏

@ElusifYT @SynthPotato if youre in a tight ass and considering to buy aaa game at full price. i suggest u spend it on financial advisor instead
English

@cmlee1204 @SynthPotato Yeah there isn’t much to play currently and I feel like I might be missing out with this one
English

@ElusifYT @SynthPotato I typically stick to one game (EFT) but needed a break. This has provided me with some relaxation paired with some mild annoyance from being bad at these types of games but I’d say I’ve gotten $70 worth and I’m only in chapter 7 with pretty crappy armor and weapons still.
