@samsammysamuell I have personal experience with learning through failure and repetition, and although it can often be strenuous and difficult, it has been effective for me. Learning more about learning itself has been fascinating!⚡️

@EM203m_gyau that’s a great question and the answer is yes. Social media nowadays has people sharing pieces of their lives & glamorizing it to look dreamlike when in reality their day to day life is just as mundane as everyone else’s. These high expectations could result in bad consequences.

Since you asked, I will deliver 🙃The first three classes have been great so far! Every now and then people talk about romanticizing their life. Could multi-media be a method of romanticizing or glamorizing digital education? 👀 #EM203Robin

@EM203alexb @EM203OLam I think multitasking has its place in our day to day lives but in majority of jobs it’s better if you just focus on one task at a time to do them all with the most attention to detail than to just do 2 sloppy jobs

We live in an age where employers emphasize the importance of solid multi-tasking skills when in actuality, multi-tasking has proven to have adverse effects on the performance of tasks being performed simultaneously. Are these really the skills we want to prioritize? #EM203Robin

@MattWLUEM203 That activity with playing music and memorizing words really made me rethink the way i study because i ALWAYS have music on.

The first few weeks of EM203 have been exciting! I really liked the lesson 3 experiment and how it showed how much distractions and trying to multitask play a part in learning and remembering new content. #EM203Robin

@EM203AHakim The learning theories were probably some of the most interesting things we learnt about in class. There is so much to uncover there.

Today I learned in my Em203 class that constructivism, as a learning theory, revolves around key concepts that shape its perspective on education. #EM203Robin

After reading more into learning theories, I have realized I might be more part of the constructivism group compared to objectivism and behaviourism which I initially believed I was mostly part of, who would have known. #EM203Robin
