Likewise, its just fucking weird... Hopefully I'm wrong and millenials just get this bizarre silver lining with aging 🤷‍♂️ I'm more skeptical about younger generations, like Gen Z and Alpha, having issues. Millenials skirted past all the weird shit in our food and tech isolation, among other things, during our developmental years.

@EmDubya36 @Birdyword I agree and think something massively bad is coming in this regard. If in 30 years millenials still look 50 when 70 then I'll just say ok

To the idiots replying about Gandolfini, my post wasn't specifically about him. He was obese and unhealthy. Im taking about past generations aging more appropriately and actually displaying masculine features. Generations before aged the same way. Its only recently this has changed, arguably due to diet and lifestyle...millennials onwards are the odd ones out, and I think it will catch up with us horribly down the road when we get much older. Did you guys also know women in general are 5'4"?

That's what we're supposed to look like. The fact we still look like we're jn our 20s when we're approaching our 40s is whats wrong. Its likely we're poisoned with all the preservatives we ingest and that we sit inside all day glued to our screens. I have zero doubt that on the inside, the 35 year old of days past was much healthier than we are today. They even look better in my opinion, like actual men and women, not some weird forever 20something looking biological experiment. No doubt we'll pay a large bill when we get into our 50s and 60s.

The sad thing is there is a significant contingent of the left who sees someone frustrated that they cannot buy the life today they could've 30 years ago and all they do is ridicule him. Education, healthcare, housing, social life are all worse now than they were when I was kid but to mention that, to complain that this status quo is obviously broken just earns contempt. The only thing better about 2026 compared to 1997 is tech that the government didn't screw around with is better/cheaper. It creates a very weird situation where earning >100k/yr means you can buy all sorts of widgets that you couldn't in 1997 - bigger better TV's, bigger better cars, better computers, etc. Yet you cannot buy the house your parents currently own. Your kids will go to a worse school. Your access to healthcare is worse. Most of your friends wont have kids. You get to feel like a foreigner in your own country every time you go to the store in a city. In some provinces (like mine) post-secondary costs grew faster than inflation as well. Yet when you dare to complain about this, that the taxes you pay go to subsidize rich old people, or immigrants that you do not want to begin with, that you simply want the same house your parents could afford to buy, all you get is ridicule. Derision. Making this even worse is our elected leaders are feckless about this and never dare to mention it.

Life in Canada is so depressing. I take home 57% of my wage after income tax, before sales taxes and other taxes. I make a wage in roughly the 95th percentile of incomes in my province, and if I don’t want to live in a shoebox, my wife needs to work rather than raise our two little kids. All to provide lavish benefits to the thousands and thousands of unproductive takers, who vote themselves an ever larger share of a shrinking economic pie. It’s bleak

Where am I cherry-picking or showing a bias? Im simply calling out idiots who say "people vote for the person, not the party", which isn't true and can easily be demonstrated. Also, this isn't the norm. Please show one other time in Canadian history where a majority was achieved through floorcrossing...I'll wait.

He literally didnt say "income tax", he said "taxed on your income". He didn't specify it was ONE tax that's 50%-70%. Go and add them all up, including all the hidden taxes on goods you buy, like gas and groceries, among many, many others, that are passed on to the consumer. Fuckin' knob.

This is gonna piss u off!! 😱🤯🤬🤬🤬 Note: These are rough numbers. Take-home pay varies by province, benefits, pensions, and deductions. Other expenses are also approximate figures. The point here isn't precision - it's direction. The Uncomfortable Reality: In Canada, you can earn $100K-$130K... and still end up with less money at the end of the month than someone making $35K. Harry went to school he took on OSAP Let that sink in. he took on student debt This isn't about attacking social programs. They exist for a reason. But at some point, you have to ask: What exactly are we incentivizing? Because right now, the people taking on more risk, working longer hours, and producing more value are not meaningfully ahead. In fact, they have even less money left over at the end of the month. And when effort stops translating into reward, people stop pushing. Top talent leaves. Ambition dies. Productivity drops. so Harry who's busting his balls and And then everyone wonders why the economy feels stagnant. Even if she's ok with exposing her past as a whore and camgirl, you should still strive to protect her dignity as her husband. Yet you're dragging this on, directing everyone to focus on her promiscuous past so you can monetize it while you hide behind "giving a testimony." Shameful.

WOW: Carney Liberals, who knowingly undervalued civilian-owned firearms as part of its gun grab, in some cases offering a toonie ($2) for a banned firearm, just secured a contract with Colt Canada worth $307M for only 30,000 rifles. Taxpayers will pay Colt Canada $10K per rifle.

I HATE Elden Ring. And no, it's not because the game is "hard" or "doesn't hold your hand." It is the fact that the entire game has ripped off another franchise. Frankly, I'm surprised nobody else ever noticed. It's so obvious and blatant. I can't be the only one to notice. The entire game is basically ripped off from my favourite video game series Dark Souls.

@TWilsonOttawa A Turkish Delight? Very nice 👌 I snagged their regulator pump for my first shotgun a few years back. Absolutely love it. Also got the 20" barrel for skeet. A bit heavy but cycles clean, never jammed.

Is anyone else getting PAID ADS from Public Safety Canada on X reminding them of their forceful/mandatory confiscation plan on their timeline? Why the hell is X allowing the Canadian Govt to post ads, using OUR TAX DOLLARS, to push this threat of confiscation of private property?

For those of us who got the 'Final Warning' Letter, are we shaking in our boots? Remember, as the old saying goes, "Threats are the last refuge of the desperate..." Remember, we have an amnesty until the end of October - nasty emails do not change that. *On a side note, dontcha just love how they use the 'Liberal nightmare-fuel gun' pictures of stuff we were never allowed to own to begin with? Sorry, what? When I think of first nations, I definitely don't consider them forward-thinking. Opportunistic... yes. Forward thinking, not so much. A great example of forward-thinking from our past is the standardization of time zones across North America and eventually the world. In the 1880s, Canadian engineer Sandford Fleming (chief engineer for the Canadian Pacific Railway) proposed dividing the globe into 24 time zones, each 15 degrees of longitude wide, with a universal 24-hour clock and a prime meridian. This solved massive chaos for railroads. Before then, hundreds of local "sun times" caused scheduling errors, near-misses, and accidents as trains crossed regions. Rail companies in the USA and Canada adopted it on November 18, 1883, creating the four main zones we still use: Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific. By the late 1920s, most major countries worldwide had followed suit. This system remains the backbone of global coordination today, scheduling flights, stock markets, international calls, internet servers, GPS, and everyday life. As far as I'm concerned, forward thinking is planning beyond the next 50 years, and I'd argue that almost none of our modern institutions are doing that effectively. What are some forward thinking example that come to mind for you?
Kirk Lubimov@KirkLubimov

On the Joe Rogan Podcast, Pierre Poilievre says we should think more like First Nations: "The First Nations in our country are incredibly forward looking...we need to think like they are thinking which is entrepreneurial, speed of business, get it done quickly." 🤔

The Liberals tried to hide this attack on our troops. When caught, their response was to 1. blame the Canadian Forces, and then 2. attack Conservatives for wanting to "reveal information" that might compromise the security of our soldiers. Both responses are shameful. This is a party that, after nearly twelve years in government, will blame others, lash out, and say and do absolutely anything to avoid accountability and cling to power. It's a pattern. #cdnpoli #cdnpolitics
Scott Robertson@sarobertsonca

David McGuinty on Tories' criticism after missile hit CAF base: "It's up to the CPC to explain why they might want to reveal info that might compromise [the security of CAF]. If Mr. Poilievre had the requisite security clearance, he might get a briefing and he might actually change his perspective."
