@binarythis Yeah, that did occur to me as I was writing it, but thought I'd offer the suggestion anyway! I think there are heaps of pros for having a single child, and I think most parents work really hard to create a vibrant, loving community around them regardless!

This is going to be a can of worms but what are people’s opinions on having only one child? The idea of having another baby one day breaks my brain in terms of how (how?!) does anyone possibly manage that, but on the other hand I was raised an only child and it was so very lonely

@binarythis Same! Except one day Dad made me a papier mache Humpty Dumpty head with a beer box wall that went over my shoulders. It must've taken him weeks! I was so embarrassed at the time, but now I'm in awe! (As a parent, I hate book week parades!)

My memories of book week were always dressing up as an obscure and ultimately uncool character while everyone else was in superhero and princess costumes; not sure what the point of this social experiment that tortures both kids and parents is tbh

@binarythis HATE it! Try finding a red shirt for a pre-teen girl - just for a sports carnival! My daughter hates pink, but geez it's hard to find her something that isn't just pastel or covered in frills.

Never not weirded out that 95% of baby clothes only come in pink, blue or “neutral” (grey/beige)

Finished at #UOWBega after seven years! Tears were shed, memories were shared, and promises were made to share more in the future. I'm so proud of everything we've achieved in the Bega Valley. We have an exceptional team. 🥰
