@torricrapper @Rach_Archaeo @nationaltrust I agree. think we can end up with a lot of white noise that means no one actually understands, & they breed like rabbits. Have a personal campaign to remove the 'no mobile phones' signs I see (maybe I shouldn't admit to this)

@Rach_Archaeo @nationaltrust Personally I don’t like them. They don’t explain why, share conservation messages or engage people in the reasoning. I also find they multiply with alarming speed where most of the collection has a sign with limited invitation to interact with other pieces.

What are you thoughts on these type of signs? The discussion about how best to care for some of our more fragile collection items whilst enabling access has come up many times over the @nationaltrust #Housekeeping Study Days
