The Embassy began our 22/23 @EmbassyAdoption Program this week! This year we are excited to work with several 6th grade classes at Alice Deal Middle School! To kick off our yearlong partnership, we introduced students to a traditional Slovenian Breakfast! 🧈🥖🍎🥛🍯😋

Through our partnership with @EmbassyAdoption Program, @JanneySchool students learned abt Pakistan’s history,geography,cuisine and culture– including 🇵🇰 famous truck art – from Embassy’s Press & Culture attaché @malihazargham . @PkPublicDiplo @epwing_official
Amb @RosanRoeslani commended the students and teachers for their diligent work in learning about Indonesia and its culture, and even learning #BahasaIndonesia. He hoped that one day, they will be able to visit #WonderfulIndonesia. "Our doors are always open!" added #AmbRosan.

THIS JUST IN: Griselda Rutherford, a teacher at Barnard Elementary School in Northwest, was announced as an @HonoredSchools award recipient. She won $5,000 due to nominations out of the fifth grade class at Barnard. Multiple teachers at the school also received nominations.
