A privilege to have the Minister for Migration and Citizenship @MikeTappTweets as our keynote speaker at this year’s Embassy Consular Conference ahead of major changes to the UK immigration system.

Extremely grateful to Ministers @NickTorfaen & @SDoughtyMP for addressing guests together with me in celebrating Europe day. A stronger Europe, build on solid EU-UK ties, and engaging with international partners across all regions, is vital for a safer & more prosperous world.

Today The King and Queen were joined by other members of the Royal Family at the British Museum to view a scale model of the new national memorial to commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II. Their Majesties and Their Royal Highnesses met memorial designer Lord Norman Foster as well as the three artists producing work for the site. The model will remain on public display at the British Museum. The tribute will overlook The Mall in central London, and is inspired by the 1955 portrait of the Queen at age 28 by Italian artist Pietro Annigon.

Today Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll would be turning 100 years old. Together with her family and her British subjects we remember her with great nostalgia and gratitude for the services rendered not only to this great Nation but to the whole world.

Today we remember Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, who was born one hundred years ago, #onthisday in 1926. As a royal church, Westminster Abbey had a special relationship with the Queen. Over the course of her life, she came here often for state occasions and national services, and some of the most important moments of her life took place here.

As we mark the centenary of her birth, we remember today the life of Queen Elizabeth II, and her unwavering service and dedication to our Armed Forces.

Engaging briefing from Home Office colleagues on procedures for VIPs who are exempt from immigration control and an update on the new Digital Record of Exemption.

Thank you to the PSAD team at Protocol Directorate for an informative briefing updating protocol officers on VIP Visits policy and procedure – from protective security to facilitating VIPs through UK ports.

Looking forward to welcoming the diplomatic community to the #EmbassyEventExpo26 at Church House Westminster. We’re expecting 200+ diplomats from 100+ countries. With lots of diplomatic activity expected in 2026 the event helps embassies with their VIP visits and events planning.

It was a great honor to participate as Dean in the Installation of the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury Sarah Mullally in Canterbury Cathedral with the presence of 2000 guests and the presence of Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Prime Minister, the President of Parliament and leaders of various religions. Archbishop Sarah is the first woman to occupy that position in the 1400 years of history of the Anglican Church
