@BleedBNetwork Is JJ basically responsible for the game getting out of hand and flipping? Yeah. But when Kentucky had Chandler, Oweh and Aberdeen all with two fouls in the first half, he was always going to have to look somewhere.
Unfortunately Kentucky just doesn’t have anyone to call on.

Not enough extra passes, instead trying to settle for iso matchups and take contested shots or turning it over.

Collin Chandler is 0-5 from the field, all good looks from deep. Just can’t get one to fall.
Have to get him going for Kentucky to make any type of run in the NCAA Tournament.
Staff telling him to keep shooting. Shooting 40%+ from deep on the season, it has to average out.

He responds how you’re insinuating he ‘should have’, he’s shamed for attacking an athlete - hurting recruiting, not focusing on task at hand, etc.

Pope coaches an NCAAT game tomorrow. Why would he focus attention anywhere else? The statement and report about that player supposedly getting offer $7-9 million is ridiculous in the first place. It’s just wild how Pope is constantly painted as the one saying the wrong thing

@JacksonCollier SEC flagrant foul reviews have been so inconsistent this week. There have been a number more egregious than that in Nashville this week called as common fouls (or nothing). Yet a clear common foul is flagrant in the SEC Championship game?

@simms13111 @KyleTuckerCBB Like in seeing these two teams compete, Florida’s a team that has a very clear blueprint. Bought in on both sides of the basketball, shooters to surround a platoon of dominant bigs. Play at a fast pace. You contrast with Kentucky - there’s not really anything that stands out.

@simms13111 @KyleTuckerCBB Roster construction is obviously screaming as the major flaw. But the lack of identity is the major concern. It’s really like Pope’s aside himself on how to coach this team (though the two issues might be intertwined).
Obviously injuries have played a major role as well though.

@simms13111 @KyleTuckerCBB It’s really tough - Pope can’t play the starting five 40 minutes a game, but it’s impossible to sub in Garrison, Jelavic and Johnson at the same time and not spur a collapse.
Really have to only have one in at the same time. That trio’s plagued by a lack of focus and intensity.

But these comments are obviously about their FT %’s due to fatigue. Do we forget Aberdeen missing two crucial ones late?

@KySportsRadio 100% but you can’t play Oweh more. If they can’t find ways to get those guys breaks we’ll lose regardless. Oweh’s FT % has plummeted since he started plying those type minutes and turnovers are up. Direct correlation. Tough spot but Pope just has to sub at better times.

@BigBlueBias @calvinpeete_ @Cincitucky1 This. And several turnovers caused by just looking lost on offense within 8-feet from the basket, or bringing the ball too low.
No doubt spaces the floor more than Mo - just an issue if that trade off is even worth it for his own issues. Tonight it wasn’t.

@TristanUda Golden did an excellent job of assembling a slew of shooters to surround his bigs with. Endured Lee’s early struggles and has gotten him and Fland to buy into defensive effort.
Kentucky’s not shown enough consistent flashes of shooting or effort.

Kentucky and Florida were both preseason title contenders.
Kentucky’s roster isn’t as strong as originally believed, and they have had injuries to 3 of their top 7 players.
Florida had some struggles, but have really come on of late, proving they are legit.
We are seeing the difference.
