#PoliceMinistry [ATTACKS AGAINST GHANAIAN NATIONALS AND OTHER FOREIGN NATIONALS] The Ministry of Police strongly condemns the recent xenophobic acts of violence and intimidation directed at Ghanaian nationals and other foreign nationals within the Republic of South Africa. These actions are not only unlawful, but they stand in direct opposition to the values of dignity, equality, and human rights upon which our democracy is founded. South Africa is a constitutional state governed by the rule of law. No individual or group has the authority to take the law into their own hands, irrespective of grievances or frustrations. The Ministry of Police wishes to advise the members of the public that acts of xenophobia, violence, looting, or intimidation will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The #SAPS has been instructed to act decisively and without hesitation in addressing these incidents. All those found to be participating in, inciting, or supporting such criminal conduct will be identified, apprehended, and brought before the courts. The Ministry of Police calls on all communities to remain calm and to reject any attempts to sow division and hatred among residents of our country. The Ministry further urges community leaders, civil society organisations, and all stakeholders to work together with law enforcement agencies to prevent further violence and to promote dialogue and understanding. #ProtestAction ME

South Africa has a deep deep leadership crisis and it’s actually sad💔It’s not surprising that people have lost faith in democracy and in government. The rest of the African continent is calling your citizens Xenophobic just because you as a government have failed dismally to protect and save the little resources that black South Africans have to their disposal, yet you want to look good to the rest of the world by appeasing business people? You create a capitalist system where you basically allow business people to “import” cheap labour and treat those people like slaves and render the natives useless because you want to pay them less then you should ,so you can make more for yourselves…greedy people!! Then the rich are stealing more to brag more to the poor but you never throw the law into their faces because they basically run this country? So the country with biggest gap between the rich and the poor in the world. The country with the highest unemployment rate in the world and youth unemployment in the world Is also the country accepting the highest number of so called refugees and asylum seekers who are now running businesses in the country?! Is also the country with one of the highest number of illegal immigrants in the world? Our birth rate as South Africans has decreased yet childbirths in hospital are on the increase? South African children are not getting access to schools but children of foreigners are? South Africans are struggling everyday to get even the most basic of needs with an economy that’s not even growing but you still want to take in people from other countries out of fear of being called Xenophobic?? When exactly will our government be honest to the rest of the world and its African counterparts that we have an immigration crisis in this country and people must start forking the bill to collect their citizens who are in our country illegally and what’s even worse is that majority of them walk into South Africa with no plan and so they end up committing crime just to survive? When will our government be honest and tell the world that they can no longer gaslight us by calling us xenophobic because their people have abused this country for so long and we kept quiet? For how long must our country suffer like this???

@Dzungie007 Yet those millions couldn’t get your lands, build jobs for you but the same whites did and now you are all scared to approach them because they would massacre you again if you try. Come to Cape Town and Orania and tell them that.

Apartheid didn't fall because a handful of South Africans ran to Nigeria. It fell because millions stayed and fought backed by global pressure, sanctions, and decades of internal resistance.

Jacinta Ngobese told her foolish Tribalist and Xenophobic followers that the person who was beaten in DBN was a South African man who was robbing people. The man who was beaten by these Xenophobic lawlessness people is from Ghana.

That Jacinta girl from South Africa is a despicable beast. Because Only a despicable beast will ever celebrate the brutal death of two black women just because she thought they were all Zimbabweans. Unknowingly to her one of the two women.. Maria Makgato was a South African and only Lucia (Kudzai) Ndlovu was a Zimbabwean. It's rather telling how someone can conveniently celebrate the feeding of two black women to pigs because she thought they aren't South Africans ... revealing a character that sits in even poorer moral company than the perpetrators themselves. She is such a despicable beast ...because only someone whose heart has become a sophisticated refrigerator of evil would ever conceive this in their heart and say it. She's a beast of note. Imagine what she can actually do to a foreigner inna corner. A bitter Jollofina!

The outcry by some governments actually confirms what South Africans want from their own government. The Ghanaian government is looking out of the economic interests and wellbeing of Ghanaians, both in Ghana and abroad. South African want the same from their own government in their own country, and South African government is failing on this hence people are standing up to advocate for their own interests. This is a reminder, governments takes care and prioritises interests of their own citizens no matter what. Perhaps this should be a lesson for the South African government.
