@DrNeilStone Maybe the shipping company is afraid to admit they had mice/rats because they could be sued for negligence. Hope they took preventive measures to prevent possibly infected mice/rats from coming ashore in any of the ports where they've docked.

@PatrickWCutler It is possible due due to statistics. For some people, several people they knew died. For some, none. For me, one person I knew died.

I did not personally know a single person that died of COVID. How is that possible?

@TheGoodShep45 @MeghanMcCain That is a list of ALL adverse effects following a Pfizer vaccine. Only the effects that are statistically higher than normal are likely to be side effects associated with the vaccine.

Can someone who is an expert in this space just keep it real with me and tell me if I should be worried about Hantavirus or not? I've got 3 kids and the youngest is 4 months old, I don't know what to believe.

@TheGoodShep45 @MeghanMcCain Gene Hackman’s wife had the North American strain that is not known to be transmitted person to person. The Andes strain can be transmitted person to person, usually through close contact.

@JupiterKunt @JeromeAdamsMD People who are ill with hantavirus would need more advanced medical care than that available on the ship. Making them all stay on the ship might mean waiting until most were dead.

@JeromeAdamsMD It’s so weird how so many people have this strange tendency to want to downplay everything until it becomes a problem. What would’ve been the worst situation if we took this virus seriously from the beginning? We would have treated the people on board the ship for eight weeks.

Lesson from Covid… by the time you realize that you need mandatory quarantines and mass testing… it’s too late for those measures to be fully effective. Waiting until people become symptomatic to test/ isolate is a bandaid on a hemorrhage.

@Milajoy During the 70s and 80s seeing color was politically incorrect. The Civil Rights Act had ended most systemic racism. People expected that bigotry among private individuals would fade away. But another generation was being “carefully taught to hate” (song from South Pacific).

When I was growing up in the 1970’s and 1980’s no one saw color. No on was obsessed with color. We were all just Americans. When did that change? Why did it change?

The New Testament contains 7,957 verses. None of them tell you to pray to Mary.
