Me on breakfast TV this morning, talking about milk and whether you can use the #snifftest to see if it’s safe. A: yes, but because milk smells bad and looks bad before it does you bad. That’s not true for many other foods. Follow the advice on the packaging.

My mother who made me what I am passed away this morning after 14 years of increasing dementia - huge hole left in my life but deep thanks to her wonderful carers from @starcare_ltd whose compassion and professionalism allowed Mum to stay in her own home

@EmilyHMiles I have an allergic reaction to RSO that causes anaphylaxis and have been hospitalised twice in the last 4 months. As the FSA CEO you need to correct the statement made of “mild reaction” would be the result of mis-labelling anything as sunflower oil #RSO
