Mum was made redundant after 33 years with AirNZ last year and yesterday I got to see her thriving in her new role as a supervisor at a vaccination centre. She treats every person coming in for a vaccine like they’re stepping in to business class. It’s fabulous! 🥂

Eldest Son just successfully defended his thesis, it was accepted with no revision. Now, at the tender age of 25 with a PhD in Computer Science, he insists I call him Doctor

I’ve just come across this documentary about three hair salons in Blackpool in 1994 and oh my God, it’s sheer perfection. I’ll leave you with some highlights; Gwen’s whisky, the incident at Kwiksave, the funeral bag and the death of Maureen.
