@OklaHouseDems Finally! Stitt couldn’t enforce mandate anyway but if you can get this thru you can build in enforcement so we get change. Good job Jason Lowe. #masklaw

@hicks4ok File a bill for a #masklaw with enforcement. Stitt’s orders have no enforcement even if he put one in place. Now you are coming back to session the time for talk is over. You have to at least try or why are you there

@EmilyVirginOK Do you have some bill filing deadline this Friday? The house website seems to say so. You don’t control whether there is a special session no matter how much you call for one but you do control whether a bill is filed or not.

@EmilyPounders We’re not in legislative session right now. It starts in February. We’ve called for a special session where we could take up a mask mandate.

@lajkainorbit @EmilyPounders @Monichols Hi Emily. We share your passion, but we are not in session right now in the Oklahoma legislature. When we are, we’ll fight for a mask order. But right now, it’s up to Governor Stitt. Every other state around us? Their governor has enacted an order.

The virus itself was not a public policy failure, but these numbers are. @GovStitt needs to act now with a strict mask mandate to protect Oklahoma families and save lives. Failure to do so puts future cases squarely on his shoulders. Get it done Governor. Now!

@EmilyVirginOK Why don’t YOU ever take action? You are always always calling on other politicians to do something and you never do anything yourself except talk. LEAD!!!! So disappointing. This is why we are shrinking under your leadership. Vow to file #masklaw bill

Case numbers are increasing. Hospitalizations are increasing. Community spread is increasing. It’s far past time to enact a statewide mask order to save lives.

@EmilyVirginOK File for a #masklaw and focus on leading the house Democrats. We cant afford to take another beating like last night. You are *leading* the smallest Democrat caucus in state history. Can you focus on doing and not just talking.

I know we’re all still mostly preoccupied with election results, but this is a grim reminder that we’re still in the middle of a pandemic, and our state and national governments are still mishandling it. People are paying the price.

ICYMI: Oklahoma hit over 1,000 COVID hospitalizations last night for the first time ever. The executive order report showed 1,026 people hospitalized and 349 suspected or confirmed COVID patients in the ICU due to complications of the virus. oklahoman.com/article/567541…

Burying all power lines would be a great stimulus project to put people back to work & make things safer during extreme weather. Building a reliable, robust, fixed-rail mass transit system so folks can get where they need to go on days like this would be another good one.

@GovStitt Out of respect for the health care workers caring for COVID patients at hospitals across the state, this is the least we could do.

We kept hearing from @GovStitt that we shouldn’t impose a statewide mask order because rural areas had very few cases. That’s simply not the case anymore, and we’ve got a crisis on our hands with hospital capacity. Please, Governor, do what’s right. Impose a statewide mask order.

The @dscc has decided to ignore us, while Oklahomans have invested millions in them. Well, screw ‘em. We’re within striking distance of flipping this seat, and I’d rather have YOU on my side. Will you chip in $5 tonight and let’s retire Jim Inhofe: secure.actblue.com/donate/ab-webs…

It is sincerely good to see that the governor can identify a dangerous threat and act immediately to mitigate damage. Would be even better if he applied that logic in every emergency.

The Commissioner of Public Safety, as authorized by the Governor, has announced that due to inclement weather all state agencies may temporarily reduce non-essential services beginning at 2:00 P.M. today & ending at 11:59 P.M. for the following counties:

@CherokeeNation @ChuckHoskin_Jr Fantastic leadership for all of the tribes and praise to you for your stand on same sex marriage. Will you work with the other tribes to recognize same sex marriages or will same sex marriage not be valid on their lands?

If you can, please help ensure the work I’m doing at the Capitol and in the community can continue by making a small $5, $10, or even $25 contribution today. Your support will go toward printing and postage for constituent outreach. 5/5 MickeyDollens.com

Big PACs are spending thousands of dollars each day attacking me and our campaign. I expected this would happen after being outspoken on certain issues affecting my constituents. The motive behind these dark money PACs is clear: Defeat those who speak up. 1/5

@abbybroyles 75 percent of what you post about senator Inhofe is ageist crap. It’s disrespectful. Be better. What would you DO for Oklahoma that he is not. If all you have to offer is youth that is not always an advantage in Washington

@AndreaEger @EpicCharter @davidlchaney Crooks. All of them. What did epic think they were buying when they gave the superintendent sixty thou in TAXPAYER money, and did they get what they paid for? Politicians need to return the epic donations not to epic but to taxpayers. It is blood money stolen from us
