Okay, I’m going to just frame it one last time so you understand my perspective. A few teenagers thought it would be funny to throw a bunch of rocks in a sea of moving vehicles, realized it could be risky, but assumed the risk was worth it for the ‘fun’ of throwing rocks. It was because of this decision to ignore that risk they deserved manslaughter. There is no proof they had an intention to murder, and every bit of proof they were some idiot teenagers who got what they deserved. The man’s death was tragic, I hope those teenagers remember what they did every day of their life, and it’s an overall screwed up situation.

@Reyno0001 @patgargil @InternetH0F I’d argue it’s more severe than manslaughter. Hitting someone with the rock is an easily foreseeable consequence of their actions that they chose to disregard each time they threw a rock.

This was a textbook case of manslaughter. What they did was irresponsible an dangerous, but I can only imagine they assumed their worst offense would be denting some cars. It was dumb and short sighted, but not malice. Also it’s true that throwing a rock through a windshield isn’t ‘easy’ that’s why it happened by pure chance.
