Dropped by at Officeworks to pick up a few remaining items for back to school for Miss 5 and Miss 8. It was 9am on a rainy Sunday and it was so busy.

@johnqgoh @aliceleung @FionaPayne9 That’s awesome! Was it hard to apply for that? I’ve recently had a parent ask if they can buy our yr 7 book pack with them and I hadn’t even thought about it.

@aliceleung @FionaPayne9 Our school can take vouchers for school uniforms when school goes back. I hope there are vouchers still out there.

@r_nd_rgh We put them out on trolleys for the kids to take home for free. We’re low socioeconomic too.

Week 1 term 4 done. My best teacher moment today happened after school when with my littlest at flip out and I saw a few lovely yr 12 boys. They very politely ran over excited to see me and asked me to mind their stuff while they jumped. We are always a safe place ❤️

@aliceleung My girls make muffins every Sunday, just a packet mix of blueberry. It gets them working in the kitchen and gives them a snack for school for a few days.

So the pancake mix is mashed banana, self raising flour, eggs, milk, frozen mixed berries and choc chips. They are suppose to be freezable so perfect for lunchboxes.

I’m trying pancake muffins for the first time. Let’s see how they go …

Yet, supposedly 8 year olds in Europe can use this. I can't work out how to 'thread the bobbin' ☠😬

During lockdown I bought a Singer sewing machine. For over a year it lived in the box it arrived in. I unpacked it today and started reading the instructions. I don't have the brain to follow this many instructions before the tool actually activates 😵

@reneecarniato @aliceleung @SueFarroukh @BiancaH80 @taniakriz Using teams or something similar to maintain communication and collaboration helps too. I like it especially for tracking things like budgets, meeting notes etc. Sorry, not super helpful, if you find a magic wand let me know. Just be nice to yourself too.

@reneecarniato @aliceleung @SueFarroukh @BiancaH80 @taniakriz I don’t think I ever figured it out. I think it’s just about making the best decisions for you & the family at the time. I like coming home to my kids events & then smashing out more work later. Schedule send is awesome & allows me to get stuff done but keeps the work boundaries.
