I’ll be honest: the response to the past week’s events has made me sick. The cruelty and gloating leave me worried about the world my kids are growing up in. When leaders dehumanize whole groups, it trickles down into our lives, making us all less safe.

@adamjraabe His death was a tragedy. But rejecting violence without using inflammatory language isn’t the same as sanitizing his record. It’s crucial we provide context for people reacting viscerally to what they’ve seen online and may not fully understand.
