It will always confuse me when some athletes who are banned have their cases published immediately, while we don’t hear about others until AFTER their bans have been completed. 🤷♂️
If we are to maintain integrity in this sport, let’s begin by being as consistent as possible in posting all suspensions promptly.

The AIU has banned Adaejah Hodge (BVI) for 2 years, from 28 August 2024 (with 7 months suspended, i.e. until 27 January 2026), for the Presence/Use of Prohibited Substances (GW501516 sulfone and GW501516 sulfoxide). DQ results since 28 August 2024.

Banning a 15 year old child for 4 years was always a disproportionate sanction in my respectful view.

What I don't get is, in competitive terms, this is basically a 1 year ban, likely because the AIU felt that a young athlete was manipulated by a bad coach and thus barely at fault. But Valieva, aged 15, got a full 4 year ban. It's the double standards of anti-doping we hate. 🤷♂️
