I've very much valued re-reading this great book on PTMF. It reveals the PTMF as unrecognisable from various twitter misrepresentations of it. I'd advise all professionals & trainees to read it for themselves & make up their own minds. You'll learn much on the way.

@camspamalam @LmhicklingPsych Thank you Camilla for acknowledging the conflict that can be experienced when taking meds as a clin psy. I’ve been on and off for 10ish years with my most recent stint on coinciding with starting training. Best of luck to you going forwards and again thanks for sharing 💕

This week marked another milestone as I was finally discharged from the CMHT. I’ve been off meds for 4 months now and so far so okay! I have thoughts but for now I’m just going to tweet to mark it and maybe a blog will come along in due course!

Slightly thrown today by a major update to @spftcarenotes, being a creature of habit as I am. Having calmed down a bit, I discovered that beneath orange and black, you're still the clinical records system I know and love. Nice new outfit though 👍

To all those going through the #dclinpsy process, please try not to put this career up on a pedestal. It's not all ☀️ and 🌈 as much as we wish it was. At the end of the day, this is a job, and no job is ever worth sacrificing your wellbeing for. Put yourself first 💖

@letsdothisrace got me good for a minute with this. Raffy 🦮 can’t run due to arthritis but I was really beginning to picture Claude 🐈‍⬛ joining me for some trail adventures… 🤦‍♀️
