I've made this for a potential (in process) War of the Roses lesson. Is this of any use to anyone? It's the main players around the outside and students are meant to then plot the key events down the centre for each side gaining advantages. cutt.ly/LwNcdQbI #historyeacher

Copious notes made reading this excellent book. Love the way behaviour is set in the context of our culture, unpacking the why of behaviour before dealing with practical suggestions on culture, rules and routines. Passing straight on to behaviour lead. Thanks @tombennett71

Doesn’t get much recognition, but there is now a Youth Mental Health qualification certified by Ofqual, from Year 9 onwards. Only requires 6 hours participation. This is something I am proud to be involved in, and will always make time for schools to deliver this for them.

Sixth Form historians have been in London this week considering to what extent we can trust the Tower of London as a piece of historical evidence. Comparing facts with myths.

Our language students have been busy enjoying the wonderful atmosphere in Lille this evening. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas🎄

The Lille trip has made good time on the homeward journey tonight. 7.45pm is the new pick up time for parents of our fantastic and very tired students. @carresgrammar

Unfortunately, Islamic medicine disappeared from the GCSE medicine specification. I thought it was important to bring it back for KS3. If you’d like a copy of the PowerPoint and worksheet, please click on the link drive.google.com/drive/folders/… #historyteacher

This is a year 7 lesson about the Bayeux tapestry. The students get a chance to interrogate the tapestry and see how useful it is in helping us find out how Harold Godwinson died? If you'd like a copy of the PowerPoint and worksheet, click on the link drive.google.com/drive/folders/…
