@GMB For people who have multiple kids with different holiday dates…when do they go on holiday?Do they just wait 13 years🫣 Private schools don’t fine parents.Does their attendance not matter?Or is it because government kids attend private schools 😣👌Do as I say and not as I do 🤦‍♀️

£41 million in fines for term-time holidays were issued to UK parents and guardians between 2022 and 2024. However, it can still be cheaper for families to go away in term-time. Is it time to stop the fines for taking kids out of school to go on holiday?

@GMB The fines are another gimmick at the expense of parents,to make money.If government really cared about children’s development they would listen and act on the main reason parents take their kids out…expense!It is archaic to believe learning only takes place inside a classroom.

In RE, we’ve been thinking about the significance of candles. The children thought of lots of different occasions when candles are used and linked this to their prior knowledge about different religions. @kapowprimary
