Yes it’s still early in the claims processing, but about a week now after landfall according to FOIR 152,183 claims have been filed. The number for Ian was 776,941. If this event it going to get to the Ian size loss some modeling firms suggest need more claims to role in.

Category 5 Super Typhoon Bolaven, the strongest storm on Earth, is nearing tropical cyclone perfection. The storm has a near perfect circular eye surrounded by deep convection. The storm currently has 180 mph (290 km/h) sustained winds with gusts to 220 mph (354 km/h), but luckily it will stay out in the open Western Pacific. Weather is amazing.
