Amad Diallo has spent over six years at Manchester United without winning a Premier League or Champions League trophy. He secretly had a child so fans won’t stop calling him “Starboy” when, in reality, he’s a full-grown adult and a father!
Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes have both taken turns captaining Manchester United, yet in over six years they have no major trophies to show for it.
Luke Shaw, the Methuselah of Old Trafford who only seems to perform in World Cup years and gets injured in every other year, has no Premier League or Champions League trophy either.
Marcus Rashford, the former dictator of Man Utd, doesn’t have a Premier League or Champions League trophy to show for his more than ten years as a Manchester United player.
Kobbie Mainoo, the face of Carrington, should also know that Carrington used to produce trophies and not just aura.
All these players have been given the full trust of both the fans and the board but have failed to repay it with silverware, and that is no longer going to be acceptable.

Funny how many people still to this day fall for that staff. The board know who to bid for and when. If they wanted those players and showed them theyre willing bidders they could’ve came home. Imagine being a player, you pick United just for them to walk away and you stay in the championship lol. Whatever Andrey Santos did at Ligue 1 is none of my business, my business is what he did in the premier league and he did nothing at Chelsea and Nottingham Forest.
I know you all want to be positive and hopeful of him but the fact remains that Chelsea recalled him back on loan from Nottingham Forest because he wasn’t having game time there. He featured in only 2 matches in 6 months At Nottingham Forest and those two features were as substitutes.
I’m not being negative, I’m just letting you all know that he was a bench warmer at Chelsea and Nottingham Forest, I didn’t see anything in him that made INEOS put £50m on him but since we’re all being hopeful, I’d join the queue and hope he does better too.
I would still stand on the hill that INEOS did promise and fail and it’s very disappointing given the number of competitions we’d play next season. Let’s watch and see how it plays out. Hopefully, inshallah. 🤞

Andrey Santos went to Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan from Chelsea in August 2023. However, the loan spell was brief and disappointing. He made only two appearances for Forest during his time there—one in the Carabao Cup against Burnley and a Premier League substitute appearance against Liverpool. Due to this lack of playing time, Chelsea recalled him in January 2024. So he was not only a bench player at Chelsea, he was a also a bench player at Nottingham Forest. This is who INEOS rushed and paid €58m for. 🤦 Before you come up with the excuses that he wasn’t playing at Chelsea because Enzo and Caicedo were better than him, he wasn’t benched by such players at Nottingham Forest. He was benched by Orel Mangala, Ibrahim Sangare, Danilo, Ryan Yates, Nicolás Dominguez. He was 6th Choice behind these 5 in the midfield double pivot. It’s amazing how INEOS got a bench warmer and a loan player to become a starter for us. Genius from INEOS. 👏

We need to understand as football fans that sometimes a complete change in approach is necessary when a club has failed to achieve its objectives for over a decade.
Take PSG as an example. For years they chased the Champions League by signing established superstars. It made them dominant domestically, but the European trophy always escaped them.
The club eventually changed its recruitment philosophy. Instead of chasing the biggest names, they focused on younger, coachable players who fit the manager’s style of play and could develop together as a team.
Players like Vitinha, João Neves, Désiré Doué, Bradley Barcola and Willian Pacho weren’t viewed as glamorous marquee signings at the time, but they perfectly matched the football PSG wanted to play. The result? 2 X UEFA Champions League title.
Man utd need to build a balanced team with the right profiles, a clear identity and players who buy into the project.
