I perfectly understand why Iran is running away from a second negotiation. It'll really be a difficult negotiation for them. First, China is no longer speaking for them and instead, has sacrificed them for a stable relationship with Trump. Second, Iran has lost their biggest leverage - the Strait of Hormuz. Third, Trump is now in control of the Strait of Hormuz and for the past 6 days, not even a fly has entered or left Iranian ports through the Strait. Fourth, Trump's Naval assets are now holding ground in the red sea against any unusual move by the Houthis. And oil prices are not hitting the roof as predicted by Iranian PhD holders. Of course, it'll be difficult for Iran to negotiate from here. Trump really went so hard on them.

“My own political opinion: if the opposition in Nigeria wants to give the current ruling party a strong f!ght, they should put Mr. Peter Obi as the presidential candidate and let any Northerner be his running mate. But if it goes the other way round and Peter becomes vice to someone, he will lose his political value.” — Pastor Joshua Iginla

Pastor Paul Enenche is fearless. He reminds me of Old Testament prophets that spoke truth to power. The prophets of old were no cowards. They looked evil in the eye wherever they went: Nathan challenged King David. St. Paul challenged Emperor Nero. St. Peter challenged Emperor Nero. Amos challenged King Jeroboam II. Moses challenged Pharaoh Ramses II. Isaiah challenged Ahaz & Hezekia in Judah. Daniel was up against King Darius of Persia. Elijah & Jehoiada challenged Queen Athaliah. Jeremiah dared Kings Jehoiakim & Zedekiah. Elijah challenged King Ahab & Queen Jezebel. Hosea clashed with corrupt leaders in Samaria. Jonah clashed with Assyrian Empire in Nineveh. And these are just some of the few examples. Citizens can cower, but men of God must be fearless. Why? Because it is righteousness that exalts a nation. When nations were challenged, it was fearless men of God that led the way. In many cases, their courage led to the downfall of evil, & the people were freed from bondage. Prophets of old were never in bed with authorities. They spoke truth to power & authorities trembled. They challenged kings & rulers over idolatry, corruption, & social injustices. Many paid with their lives. They were martyred for the Gospel to spread to all corners of the earth. Pastor Paul Enenche spoke courageously like a prophet of old. Brethren, this is no ordinary message! Gloria Patri: “As it was in the beginning, is now, & ever shall be, world without end, amen!” Speak Lord, your children are listening. ✊

Some reserve soldiers (not generals o) were killed and Trump stopped everything he was doing to receive them. In Nigeria, an army general was slaughtered by terrorists and they were just buried like rats. Tinubu absent. Shettima absent. Animals in govt.

How Abacha Challenged the West This is the part most narratives bury under the corruption story: 1. He rebuilt Nigeria’s foreign reserves under sanctions. Under Abacha, Nigeria’s foreign reserves grew from $494 million in 1993 to $9.6 billion by 1998, and external debt was reduced from $36 billion to $27 billion — all while under Western sanctions and with oil averaging around $15 per barrel. That’s a significant economic feat that contradicted the IMF’s structural adjustment playbook entirely. 2. He rejected IMF conditionalities. He brought the privatization programs of the Babangida administration — IMF-aligned programs — to a halt, and reduced inflation from 54% to 8.5% without following Western prescriptions. This was a direct rebuke of the Bretton Woods institutions. The West wanted SAPs; Abacha refused them. 3. He defied UN sanctions on Libya. In 1997, Muammar Gaddafi’s West African tour to Abacha directly infringed UN sanctions on Libya, and Abacha received him publicly with thousands of supporters in Kano. This was a deliberate signal — Abacha was building an alternative bloc with leaders the West was trying to isolate. 4. He was the backbone of ECOMOG. Under Abacha, Nigeria contributed the largest troops and resources to West African peacekeeping in Liberia and Sierra Leone, often funding operations alone when other regional powers hesitated. Former Ghanaian President Jerry Rawlings is quoted saying: “It was Nigeria under Abacha that gave ECOWAS its backbone. Without that courage, West Africa would have descended into chaos.” This regional military muscle made Nigeria structurally dominant in a way that threatened Western-mediated stability frameworks 5. He was consolidating permanent power. By April 1998, Abacha had coerced all five political parties to endorse him as the sole presidential candidate. A Nigeria locked permanently under an anti-IMF, pro-Gaddafi, ECOMOG-funding strongman with $9.6 billion in reserves and no appetite for Western financial institutions was a fundamentally different geopolitical problem than a temporarily compliant dictator they could manage.
