I, as a Hindu, won't give any charity money to Hindu religious organizations or temple Hundi for the next 5 years. I won't add tourist money to temple towns. I will be paying in cash, no memo or UPI, if I pay a priest. I request all Hindus to take this vow. #BoycottTempleHundi

Couldn't agree more. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav were rewarded by a 20% community in UP for NOT visiting the new Ram Mandir in Ayodhya since Jan 2024. Modi and Yogi were punished by a 75% community for building a Ram Mandir after 500 years. Need I say more? Scary.

On the auspicious Chaitra Purnima, when South India faces the darkest of times, two brothers by the name Harihara and Bukka under the guidance of Swami Vidyaranya established Vijayanagara or Karnata Samrajya For the next 200 years, Vijayanagara Samrajya stood as a wall shielding much of south India from invaders, using Hinduism as a uniting force to rule over multi linguistic regions They defeated ruling sultans in south, retook territories, restored & fortified temples Under their rule South India ushered in an era of peace & immense prosperity. Vijayanagara came as a boon to all Hindus in the South and remains one of the greatest empires to have ruled this land

@SSundar55252 Goddess Tara of Hinduism may very possibly be older than its Buddhist version, including the name "Tara" So, Buddhists totally stole the concept of Tara, just as Buddhists stole Maheshvara or Bhairava from Hinduism, and turned them into slaves/servants of Buddha in their stories

No other community have taken self Ls like Hindus have. We actually allowed a law called "Waqf" in India! Off the charts crazy. x.com/SKKolya/status…
Sudhakar K@SKKolya

@barbarindian In Karnataka a hindu family allowed burial of a Muslim as they did not have burial ground in the village. Later the same land was claimed as wakf land by muslims and the family was forced to fight for the land in court.

if 35% of han chinese-descended population claimed "actually we're manchus," gave themselves manchu names and practiced siberian shamanism to the exclusion of chinese ancestor-worship and claimed that the manchu emperors were much better than chinese emperors, they would care

China has been conquered by several foreigners from steppe lands up north. Are they as obsessed with the lingering remnants of those conquests as the modern Indians?

LOL to think a tamil nadu person will have more in common with a Singaporean or Malaysian is laughable to say the least. One needs to have travelled to any of these locations to realise they treat Indians like shit and most labourers and plantation workers there are tamilians, which is a driving factor in how they view Indians. Singapore is a high income, modern, chinese majority city state that has caning laws and death penalty with English as the official working language. What exactly does a person from Tamil Nadu have in common with a Singaporean? Do you even know how hard it is for a person with an Indian passport to get a house or job there? Malaysia is a Muslim majority country where ethnic Chinese and Indian minorities face DOCUMENTED discrimination in education, jobs, housing and politics, esp with Indians (specifically tamils) stereotyped as "lower class". Maybe you might feel at home here because they would treat you the same way you are treated in TN? Ridiculous. In both Malaysia and Singapore, many lower skilled (read: tamil) migrants work in construction, cleaning, security, and plantations. These are low paying "low class" jobs. Sri Lanka has ~15% tamil population. This is also where the tamil people were genocided by the sri lankan Buddhists. You see a few words in tamil and you think you have more in common with the very people who look at you as sub human?? What an idiot. Tamils should accept their Indian identity and should start looking at Indians (including North Indians) as your own instead of thinking you're some special species just because you're of "Dravidian heritage" (which is not a thing lol) or as if the people in these other countries will even accept you as their own.
That squirrel@anjusabu

This is why we in Tamil Nadu will always have more in common with countries like Singapore, Malaysia and Sri Lanka than north India. I’d definitely feel more culture shock in Hindia than in those countries.

In many North Indian gyms, you will find that all gyms owned by Hindus have an idol of Shri Hanuman ji. And many of them have recently started playing only Hanuman and Bhairav related workout music. It's slowly in some sense turning into a neo-martial ritual. Its wonderful!

There's a Tamil word called Kalai to describe a certain kind of look. Superficially, it's about beauty, but it's essence is a lot more, referring to a radiance that comes through from within. Any respectable painting depicts Gods with Kalai. Ramayana movie cast has zero Kalai.

The issue of how Dalits get marginalized by both kazhagams ( neither is an exception) and Dravidian movement in general has been studied. In fact, there is even a phd thesis on this in madras university on this. The candidates from dominant communities get “repeated tickets” and plum ministries whereas the Dalit politicians are seldom repeated. There may be exceptions. That dhanapal himself had to draw attention to this through JJ who elevated him, is a story by itself - somewhat loosely adapted in the film maamannan with wild exaggerations Meanwhile 1/3 of NDA seats this time have gone to 2 dominant communities.

Delhi is set to remove 1.4 lakh CCTV cameras (almost all sourced from Hikvision) and replace them across the capital without disrupting live surveillance. This is significant first move, but Hikvision systems are embedded across metros, central government projects, and critical infrastructure nationwide. The Union government’s move to restrict STQC certification for Chinese-made or Chinese-chipset cameras effectively sidelines players like Hikvision and Dahua. However, the deeper challenge lies in the supply chain. Most “Indian” CCTV brands still rely on Chinese components, whether image sensors or core chipsets. A fully indigenous, end-to-end camera hardware stack (sensor to firmware) does not yet exist at scale. Domestic players such as Prama India and CP Plus offer credible alternatives, but their upstream dependencies remain largely external. STQC is a necessary step for security and standardisation. But in the near term, India risks replacing a Chinese brand with an Indian-labelled system built on a largely Chinese supply chain. Or embrace other foreign alternatives like Axis, Bosch or Sony. Still a welcome move. Every rip-and-replace cycle builds considerable procurement muscle, creates guaranteed demand that didn't exist before, and forces Indian integrators to invest in localisation to win contracts. STQC certification, however imperfect today, is a forcing function. It sets a bar that domestic industry will eventually have to meet or lose to trusted foreign alternatives. via @IndianExpress

RW stood up against their "own" government, and pointed out wrongdoings. Despite prior cases against RW, they're still doing it. Non IT-Cell RW (majority on X) praise and criticise as they see fit. Can LW dissent from Western Leftist consensus? Call out AISA or Pinarayi or Nehru?

RW individuals getting FIRs against them for trying to hold their government accountable. They’re not appreciating getting a taste of the dictatorship they once applauded when it was only affecting others.
