This is possibly the biggest problem in America today and I have laser-focused all of my attention on it. Criminals know nothing will happen to them when they commit crimes. So there is no reason not to commit crimes. No consequences at all, or extremely light consequences. Steal a car? Out the same day. Assault someone on camera? Cashless bail. Violate probation for the fifth time? A stern warning and another court date you won't show up for. We have built a system that punishes the victim and protects the offender. >We investigate the shop owner who defended himself. >We sue the homeowner who fought back. >We release the career criminal with 47 prior arrests because the jail is "overcrowded." There is NOTHING compassionate about a justice system that treats the next victim as an acceptable cost of empathy. Consequences ARE NOT cruelty. Consequences create a livable, workable, functioning society. We are watching what happens when we do not enforce them. It breaks my heart.

Right on cue - just now, right in front of my eyes at a Duane Reade in Manhattan: A guy casually grabs a bunch of candy and heads for the door. One of the employees follows him, stops, and says, “Do good.” The guy responds, “Who the #%$ are you?” and tries to intimidate him. He walks out. The employee turns around and says to a colleague: “I wish I could just knock him out.” If you want to see this happen again and again, go hang out inside a CVS or Duane Reade in Manhattan And yes things are locked up because otherwise they would get easily stolen with zero consequences. Yes this is reality, and the majority don’t seem to want to see it changed. One of the mysteries of life.

Saying the words "white people" in front of a room of white people is WILD, I did it recently. Watch what happens around you... EXTREME discomfort. White people have been conditioned to believe that even saying the words "white people" is a slur. That to even acknowledge themselves as a group, is itself, an act of racism. Really, it's just an insane thing to realize how successful the psychological operation has been. An entire group of people have been taught to be afraid of their own name, taught that noticing themselves is a truly evil thing to do. Yet, simultaneously, taught that EVERY OTHER demographic can speak about itself like that, but if YOU say "White people" it's a slur. The operation was SO successful, it's insane.

The most radicalizing content on the internet is old footage of Americans shopping in stores 25 years ago. It's calm, quiet, civil, no fighting, no screaming, no phones, it's not overly crowded. You can't quite describe it, but you miss it so deeply.

It's about oil and power. But to address nuclear, I've come to the conclusion that I compare this to north Korea. Bush 1 and Clinton were president when they saw it coming but chose to do nothing. Now we have them with nukes...We can't have this just keep happening over and over and 50 countries have nukes. Then were all dead. Someone has to rule, this is the real world.

What are you using?

I have done countless hours of research on the "lightweight through hikers" that do the PCT, CDT, AT...I researched them to get best idea for my hiking trips for remote fishing. Wish I could try the PCT, but I have a job. She is just at the beginning, her gear looks right, from what I can tell so far. However, things will get really tough, I do not see her making it no way.

You gotta be one tough chick to hike from Mexico to Canada! This is actually awesome. I would personally love to do it but feel like it shouldn’t be done alone for safety reasons. There’s power in numbers. Nevertheless, I absolutely respect this girl.
