I have always been an advocate of: alongside doctors, engineers, government servants, bureaucrats, and freelancers, Gilgit-Baltistan is in dire need of social scientists like Aziz Ali Dad. I recommend reading this book at least once. #GilgitBaltistan

It's surprising to see candidates with fake 'master of all trades' experience & a notorious reputation for frauds now running for the GB elections. The sad conclusion; politics has become an another shortcut to illicit wealth & power for themselves and future generations.

So now this is a whole new trend “nurse hunt” in GB. Not to my surprise the “gairtat brigade” is silent. Waiting for the moment someone saying “ya GB ka culture ni ha” 😂
Deedar Hunzai@Emperisist

In our region, the husbands of nurses working in the Middle East are often proudly occupied with online scamming, fake trading, Facebook vlogs, and even travel adventures. Would it be appropriate to call them “social parasites”? #GilgitBaltistan #CoupleGoals #Hunza

Why are election candidates in GB holding long rallies just to submit nomination papers? With rising fuel costs and environmental concerns, this feels wasteful. Adding banners, posters & wall chalking, more pollution. Time for youth to push for eco-friendly campaigns.

Today, this knowledge has eroded. Younger generations (even a musician in the video looked surprised) no longer connect with these practices. The result: our once-deep bond with nature has turned extractive and egoistic.

@nadiaak32 And the irony is: our region was notorious for this Slave Trading, though the modernisation has enveloped our history.

@nadiaak32 Exactly - this is unwarranted by any means to target a female owing to her clothes. Political baseness blankets even common etiquettes.

Even in these tense diplomatic times, the focus of some Pakistani men and even some women remains on dissecting a female journalist’s clothing. Regardless of intent, why is it always women who are scrutinized and targeted?

For the knowledge of Taliban propaganda accounts, the brave SSG troops pulled off a miraculous rescue operation, freeing 21 hostages from a compound controlled by 4-5 heavily armed and ruthless TTP suicide militants. Here’s the break down of the operation. On the morning of 2nd September, terrorists launched an attack on FC Cantonment by ramming an explosive-laden vehicle into the gate of FC lines, resulting in the martyrdom of four brave FC personnel. The police quickly cordoned off the area, and 12 elite SSG commandos were airlifted in from Datakhel, prepared to undertake a perilous mission. At 1:30 PM, the commandos led by Major Saad and Major Adnan entered the hostile compound. The attackers were four to five trained terrorists, armed with M-16 and UVGLs. They were on a complete suicide mission. The battle was intense, and by 3 PM, the SSG troops had sustained injuries, but their resolve remained determined. Despite being outnumbered, the fearless SSG fighters displayed unmatched bravery. They fought tooth and nail to rescue 21 hostages held captive in a stronghold within the compound. By 5 PM, the compound was cleared and the operation was declared successful. The courageous SSG had not only saved the hostages but also sent the attackers to hell, overcoming the numerical disadvantage with sheer valor and skill. This mission was a testament to the unyielding spirit of the SSG where courage meets sacrifice and victory is carved out of adversity.
نقطةNUQTA@NUQTA31

Indeed, it is a shocking situation that a single militant managed to infiltrate a security forces’ camp and fight against SSG commandos in a manner that seemed like a scene straight out of a Bollywood movie. The fact that five militants kept fighting from early morning until evening raises serious questions about the capability of the army. @soldierspeaks @paykhar
